Taught 5th, 6th, and 7th grade music appreciation classes with an average of 20 students per

Taught 5th grade choir with an average of 35 students per class. As well as small group voice
lessons for members of this choral ensemble.
Taught core values and structured lessons to a group of middle school students. Held and
lead parent teacher conferences with said group.
Collaboratively planned and directed 4 concerts a year at the DECC and outdoors at Leif
Erickson park with fellow music teachers, both in the building and our West Duluth location.
Participated in specialist professional learning community to build student understanding in
content areas and success
Planned and facilitated 5th-8th grade choir field trip
Planned and facilitated music in our schools month classroom activities and kindergarten
through 4th grade sing along
Created and edited web pages for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade music learning and practice
Member or Tech Trailblazers team, learning and using technology in the classroom and
sharing ideas through a professional learning community
Assisted in planning and facilitating kindergarten - 8th grade students singing the National
Anthem at University of MN Duluth Bulldog hockey games
Used the STEAM lab to create and teach students to use a green screen and create their own
music videos
