1-Tap root.
A single ,thick root body with hairy
cells

Ex. carrots

Branched tiny thin hairy cells
Ex. Grass

Plants with fibrous roots can live in dry regions


because they can collect rain from the top

3-Aerial roots.
Roots that grow above the ground
They take in moisture from the air.

Finger like projections from the
bottom of the stem.
