Invites you to a special learning session . . .

“TRUSTS: Basics and Practical Applications”

Date: May 14, 2010 · Time: 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Place: IIAP Main Hall, 26/F Ayala-FGU Building, Ayala Avenue, Makati City

OUR GUEST SPEAKER:

MR. ROBERTO S. VERGARA (Reevie)

A trust (law) is an arrangement in which property is managed by a person or entity
for the benefit of another. A trust instrument, as defined by Wikipedia, is an
instrument in writing executed by a settlor used to constitute a trust. Trust
instruments are generally used only in relation to an inter vivos trust; testamentary
trusts are usually created under a will.
If like me, you did not really understand the above, then join our Special Interest
Session.
Our resource person, Mr. Roberto S. Vergara (Reevie), is the President of the
Trust Institute Foundation of the Philippines (TIFP). TIFP is the educational arm
of the Trust Officers Association of the Philippines (TOAP). TOAP is one of the
oldest professional associations in the financial industry with the primary objective
of uniting, professionalizing and promoting the Philippine Trust and Investment
Management Industry. Reevie is currently First Vice President of Land Bank of
the Philippines and Group Head of OFW Remittance Group.
This workshop is open to PIFAAP members only.
