Student Interview

1. Tell me what its like to be a reader/writer in this classroom.

Its awesome and fun. We always get great writing assignments
that are fun but we still learn.
2. Whats it like to be a mathematician/scientist/ social
studiesist?
Its fun because we dont get graded on everything. We do a lot of
hands on activities. The math lessons are never too long. We always
do hands on activities in science class but we dont do a lot of social
studies.
3. How do you best learn as a student?
I best learn by doing hands on activities. I like doing things myself,
not taking notes all day.
4. If you were the teacher in this classroom, what would you do
the same? What would you do differently?
I would have my students do the settler project because its really
fun. I would have my kids do a lot of the projects we do and science
experiments or activities. I wouldnt do anything differently.
5. What makes a good teacher?
A good teacher is hardworking, understands kids and gives fun
assignments. They also dont yell at their students but dont have
kids running wild everywhere.
6. What makes a good learner?
A good learner is someone who is also hardworking, perseveres,
listens to the teacher and turns work in on time. They always do
their best in everything they do.
