Mobile Phone User Manual

Introduction
The mobile phone user manual is intendent for older people
from age 55 to 60 and above, this is because they may not
know how to use the technology as good as the younger
people. They maybe need help and support through seeing
things by a guide showing the images and illustrating how to do
it.
Profession and Work
From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that most of the retired people profession and work is to do
physical activities (Playing golf, tennis and more), they also join
clubs around to play different types of cards games with their
friends or other people, some of them like to take part in
activities that are taken on classes (art, wood sculptures and
more), some of them go on trips around the city, most of them
like to travel abroad exploring different cultures, lifestyles and
more, most of them like to spend time with their loved ones
with their family, a lot of them like to get a new career which be
having their businesses and more and some of them like to still
work and they look for part-time jobs.
Gender
This is for both genders.
Residence
From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that they may live among people of their similar age,
incomes, health problems and neighbourhood. 56% of the
retired people are owners occupiers but with no mortgages, 6%
of them are owners occupiers with their mortgages, 26% of

them are living on rented houses that were given by the local
authorities, 6% of them are living in rented houses that were
given by housing associations and the last 6% of them are
living on their private rented houses.

Income
From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that retired people could get paid by private pensions, in
which it was supplemented by their saving gathered during
their working lives. And also found out that the rates of their
income are quite high and they also get paid weekly, as from
age 60-74 a couple can earn 109.35 and a single person can
earn 70.45, from age 75-79 a couple can earn 112.55 and a
single person can earn72.70 and from age 80 and above a
couple can earn 117.90 and a single person can earn 77.56.
Reading Material
From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that the males retired people love to read newspapers and
both genders like to read books that are about history and
drama. Also found an interesting fact that helped a lot of them,
in some reaseach I made I found out that by reading they have
a better social interaction which means that they more able to
socialize and connect with people easier and also found that
they could get less agitated.
Entertainment
From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that most of the retired people like to go to see art galleries
about the history, different cultures and more, some of them
like to go to the theatre to watch characters acting in the stage
and some of them like to play outdoor treasure hunting which
the main purpose of the game is to find the treasure hidden
somewhere outside.
Purchases

From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found

out that retired people like to buy books, watches, newspapers,
some of them buy tablets, also tabloids, also magazines and
more.

Food and Drink

From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out retired people like to go out to restaurants but a lot of them
like to cook at their homes, most of them love to eat out at
their families homes and some of them like to order take
aways.
Politics
From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that retired people are definitely interested in politics as
they would like to talk and discuss about it mostly with their
friends or family as most of them find it very important because
its about expressing their opinions and thoughts to the country
and the nation in general. And I have also found that the top 3
most liked parties in the U.k are the conservatives party, the
labour party and the SNP party.

Speakeasy magazine
Introduction
From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that Speakeasy is for the younger generation for example
students that are in or have been graduated in universities and

young people that are working part time or full time jobs, this
advertisement is intendent for people age 18 and above, this is
because they might be interested on changing their old phone
to a new one, they might be looking to get a new phone at an
affordable price on contact or as a pay as you go.

out that this people may have full or part-time employment
jobs or they could be students that have just graduated or
enter in the university.

the universities would live at the universities accommodations,

From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that young people, the graduates and students currently at
the universities. Young people could earn 15,716 and 16,111
depending on the job they get, the graduates could earn from
5,000 to 6,000 and a graduate can earn 27,452 and
28,641 every single year.
Reading Material

From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found

out that between the age of 18-24, 40% of young people in
general read newspapers and 44% of other young people read
magazines or journals. And also found that between the ages of
25-29, 46% read newspapers and 43% read magazines or
journals.
Entertainment
From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that young people in general like to play on consoles, go
out with friends for parties and watch movies at the cinemas.
Purchases
From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that young people in general like to buy tablets, phones,
buy clothes and dresses, buy games for their consoles and
more electronic devices.

drink fizzy drinks.

From my research, viewed on a mosaic point of view, Ive found
out that the majority of young people in general are not very
interested in politics as they dont want to know very much
about it and some think that it is not necessary to talk about it
or listen to it.
