As stated previously in my email to you, I will be writing an essay on Life after College. The essay will mainly be on how a fresh college graduate should plan his or her life after graduation, and this would encompass all of the aspects of living life as an adult; employment, leading an independent life, and building a family. Some of the questions may sound a bit personal to you, but I hope you would not mind providing your input on this matter. This interview will be recorded and a copy of the recording will be sent to my instructor, Ms. Goodrich as proof that I have done this interview. Questions: 1. I believe that you, as a professor, must have gone through postgraduate studies. My first question will pertain to the issue of postgraduate education. As someone who has experienced both undergraduate and postgraduate education, will it be worthwhile to invest time and money towards a masters or doctorates degree, as most people advise that it would be wiser to work first and gain experience before planning for higher-level studies. And, if one were to pursue postgraduate studies right after graduation, how would it help improve his or her chances of landing a job. 2. Moving on to the second question, when looking for a job, should one start small, gain experience first and then apply for jobs with bigger pay, or should he or she look for big companies with big pay. In essence, which is more important, experience or position? 3. Third, after procuring a stable job with satisfying pay, should one start an independent life and live on his or her own? Expanding more on this question, should one continue living with his or her parents, and wait until they can afford to buy a house, or just start living on their own, renting out a house? 4. Last question, and this would sound a bit personal to you, how soon should one start a family, and how should he or she plan her budget to satisfy the needs of managing a family and a household?
