Dear Parents & Friends,

I can hardly believe we have

already reached Holy Week. It
seems as if our Lenten journey
has just started. I hope that it
has been a prayerful, sacrificial
time for you and your families
to develop an even deeper
closeness to Jesus. We were
very blessed this year to have
several Fridays that we were in
school and could participate in
the Stations of the Cross. Many
of our students also collected
money in their Rice Bowls this
year to be donated to Catholic
Relief Services.
Students have taken part in
discussions regarding the focus
of Holy Week. This is not just a
short week with time off for fun.
This is the holiest of weeks;
culminating in the Triduum,
which begins tonight. I ask that
you make an effort with your
families to attend at least one
of these three services leading
up to the Resurrection. You still
have time to make this a
reflective and spiritual Lent.
God Bless!
Nancy Butters

SCHOLARSHIP
If you know someone who
is interested in sending their
child to OLU but feels they
cannot afford it, please have
them call the office and inquire
about this scholarship. The
deadline for completing the
application is May 20 for next
year so they need to hurry!

2016-2017 ENROLLMENT
Please remember that
there are several steps
needed to re-enroll your child
for the 2016-2017 school year
and the Early Bird registration
period ends on April 1. The
financial analysis on the
FACTS website needs to be
completed, we need to have
your application, and your
registration fee by that date.
Once FACTS has provided a
recommendation we will call
you to set up an appointment.
At that time, you will need to
be able to provide all of your
parish subsidy documentation
to complete your registration.
All money due to the school
for this school year, except for
Mays tuition, will also need to
be paid by that time.

REMINDER
The Kindergarten class will
not have school on Thursday,
April 7, due to Kindergarten
Round-up. We have a fairly full
day of screenings already, so if
you know someone interested
in enrolling a kindergartner, ask
them call for an appointment
soon please.

Once again, Fr. Kent has

asked for our students to sing
with him during his concert at
St. Michaels. Mr. Kaemmer
has been working with them
on the songs during music
class. If your child would like
to participate, they will need to
have their own ride to and
from St. Michaels on Monday,
April 11. The concert begins
at 7pm so they should arrive
no later than 6:45. If your child
will be participating, please call
the office by Friday, April 1 to
confirm. Students should wear
full uniform.

WFC CANDY BARS

Because of Spring Break
we are going to allow a few
extra selling days. All money
for candy will be due by Wed.,
March 30. Remember that
each family is responsible for
selling at least one box.
