Becoming a Five-Star Chapter

With the start of the new

school year, we have set
our goal to become a Phi
Theta Kappa Five-Star
Chapter. Although it is not
an easy task, our chapter
officers, members, and
advisors are working hard
to make it our utmost
commitment to represent
and become a
distinguished chapter that
truly embodies what an
honor society is all about.
Psi Upsilon not only focuses
on academic excellence but
we also promote
participation in community
events and demonstrate
exceptional leadership
skills needed to succeed as
an honorable chapter.

Several things we are

working on this year
include attending regional
and even national Phi
Theta Kappa events where
we can participate in
educational conferences
that teach us how to
become a successful
chapter. We have also been
working extremely hard on
our Honors in Action
Program with Samantha
Hulatt in charge of the
Project.
We will continue to work on
achieving our goals and
challenging our chapter to
limits never yet reached. It
is our duty to strive for the
best and make Psi Upsilon
a Five-Star Chapter of Phi
Theta Kappa.

Psi Upsilon welcomed all

members to join us in this fun
and exciting t-shirt making
event on October 22nd.
Members got the opportunity
to choose their own patterns
and iron the materials to a
plain shirt to create their very
own Phi Theta Kappa logo
shirts. The event was such a
great success with many new
colorful designs produced. We
cannot wait to see our
members wearing their new
shirts around campus.
