and make the classroom as dark as
possible. The teacher will then play
animal sounds of the iPad, whilst
directing the students to turn their
torches on if they hear a nonnocturnal animal sound and off if
they hear a nocturnal animal sound.

the bus to begin their day.

small groups of five with a
nominated parent or teacher.

3. Once arrived at the zoo the


class will separate into their
small groups and begin to
explore the environment.

live in.
5. Students will then meet at an
allocated time for lunch.
6. Return to the bus for the drive
back to school.
