Runestone Publishing, an LLC company (we, us or our) respects your privacy and values the
relationship we have with you. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from
you, how we use the information, with whom we share it, and the choices available to you regarding our
use of the information. We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of the information
and how our customers can contact us about our privacy practices.
By using our services, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not
agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify
or amend the terms of our Privacy Policy from time to time without notice. Your continued use of our
services following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.
Our Privacy Principle
The name, address, e-mail, and any payment information provided by you to Runestone Publishing will
not be processed or disclosed by us to third parties except as you expressly authorize it, your publishing
contract with us permits us to do so, or as we believe is reasonably permitted by law or regulation.
Our registration and user forms require users to provide us with information, including your name
and e-mail address. The forms allow you to request additional information or order our Products or
additional material as may be available from Runestone Publishing.
Information We Collect About You
We may obtain personal information about you through various sources, such as, your registration
and other forms related to our products and services and through your conversations with our
representatives. This information falls into two categories: Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
and Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII) (collectively Information). PII includes
information that identifies you specifically, such as your name, address, email address, phone number,
other contact information, social security number and credit card numbers. Non-PII is anonymous
data that does not identify you specifically, such as aggregate data about the number of people who
have accessed a particular Product. We may collect, use, transfer and disclose Non-PII for any purpose.
You can choose not to provide PII we may request of you, but, in general, most of the PII we request
is required in order to provide our service and the lack of such PII will prevent us from doing so. We
afford our prospective and former customers the same protections as existing customers with respect
to the use of PII.
Information You Provide

email, or in person. The types of personal information you may provide to us includes:

appropriate to the busiess needs of Runestone Publishing. If you no longer use the services or products,
we may retain any information that you have provided and may continue to use it for the purposes

Information We Share
We do not rent lists, or sell or otherwise disclose personal information we collect about you, except as
described below. We may share your personal information with:
Our contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and to fulfill
services requested by you, including, without limitation, credit card processing companies, marketing
services providers and consultants, public relations firms and printers.
We may share information in connection with a proposed or in the event of an actual sale, merger,

proceeding, in which personal information held by Runestone Publishing, LLC about its users is among
the assets transferred. Under such circumstances we would, to the extent possible, require the acquiring
party to follow the practices described in this Privacy Policy, as it may be amended from time to time.
Nevertheless, we cannot ensure that an acquiring company or the merged company will have the same
privacy practices or treat your information the same as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose your personal information to comply with any court order, law or legal process, to
repond to law enforcement authorities or other government officials, or to enforce our agreements with
you, including for billing and collection purposes.
If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or in
connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity. This includes
exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection
and credit risk reduction.
Your Rights and Choices
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have
created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:
Email Opt-Out. You can at anytime tell us not to send you marketing communications by email at within the marketing emails you receive from us. This opt-out does not
apply to communications we send to you in relation to your transactions with us.
Reviewing, Updating and Modifying Personal Information. Subject to applicable law, you may have
the right to request access to and receive details about you and update and correct inaccuracies in
your personal information. Please note that only you, however, can change or delete tax information,
including your TIN, previously provided to us through your registration. We may not accommodate a
request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or
cause the information to be incorrect.

Do Not Call. If you do not want to receive sales calls from us, you may request to have your name placed
on our Do Not Call List. We will process your request and remove your name from our active list within
10 days. You can make this request by email at or via mail addressed to
Runestone Publishing, Attn: Do Not Call List, PO Box 977, South Shore, KY 41175. When submitting a
request, be sure to include all the relevant information that you want added to our Do Not Call List, i.e.,
full name, address, and telephone number(s). Subsequent sign-ups or inquiries may lead to new record
creations; these actions by you may lead to inadvertent contact. If that is the case, please do not hesitate
to contact us to reiterate the Do Not Call requests. If your information changes, please notify us of your
new name, address, and telephone number(s) so that you will remain on the Do Not Call List.
Childrens Privacy
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account on this website. Runestone Publishing does
not knowingly solicit orders or collect personally identifiable information from children under the age
of thirteen. If we have reason to believe that any personally identifying information has been submitted
to us by a child under thirteen, contact us and we will delete that information as soon as possible. We
will not disclose that information to any third party or use it ourselves in any way.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to help protect and secure your personal information from accidental loss
and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. However, please remember that no data
storage or data transmission over the Internet, or by other means, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Thus, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. Therefore, you
understand, acknowledge and agree that you transmit your personal information via the internet at
your own risk.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. You should never submit to us payment
or tax information via email.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
In the event that we add new services or features which affect our Privacy Policy, or if other changes in
our privacy practices or applicable laws necessitate changes to the Privacy Policy, this document will
be updated accordingly. If we make a material change in the way we use your personal information, a
revised version of our Privacy Policy will be made available to you.
