Information for these operating instructions

These operating instructions are a component of the Electric Fruit Preserver &
Jam Maker SEAD 1800 A1 (henceforth designated as the appliance) and they
provide you with important information about the intended use, safety and connection as well as operation of the appliance.
The operating instructions must be constantly kept available close to the appliance. They are to be read and applied by everyone assigned to operate and
troubleshoot the appliance.
Retain these operating instructions and pass them on, together with the
appliance, to any future owners.

images, also in an altered state, is only permitted with the written authorisation of
the manufacturer.
Proper use
This Preserving Boiler is suitable for:
- Preserving
- Heating and keeping drinks warm, and for their pouring
- Heating and keeping boiled sausages, or their like, warm
- Heating and keeping soups warm
The appliance is intended for domestic use only, it is not suitable for commercial
or industrial applications.

Risks from unintended use!
Risks can be caused by the appliance if it used for unintended purposes and/
or other types of use.
Use the appliance exclusively its for intended purposes.
Observe the procedures described in these operating instructions.
Claims of any kind resulting from damage caused by improper use, incompetent
repairs, unauthorized modications or the use of non-approved spare parts will
not be acknowledged.

Safety instructions

In this chapter you receive important safety information regarding the handling of
the appliance.
This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage
can, however, lead to personal injury and property damage.
For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety information:
RISK - ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Before taking it into use, check the appliance for signs of visible external
damage. Do not take into operation an appliance that is damaged or has
been dropped.
To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be
replaced at once by qualied technicians or our Customer Service
Department.
Repairs should only be carried out by authorized specialist companies or
by the Customer Service Department. Incorrect and/or incompetent repairs
can result in signicant risks for the user. In addition, warranty claims will
become void.
Ensure that the base with the electrical connections NEVER comes into
contact with water! If it has unintentionally come into contact with water,
rst allow it to dry out completely before taking it into use.
Ensure that the power cable NEVER becomes wet or damp during operation.
Lay the cable so that it cannot become trapped or damaged in any way.
Always remove the plug from the mains power socket after use. Simply
switching the appliance o is not sucient, because the appliance remains
under power for as long as the plug is connected to the mains power socket.
Ensure that the power cable does not come into contact with parts of the
appliance that are hot.

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!

This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children)
with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or deciences
in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the
appliance is to be used.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
Hot steam clouds may be released. Additionally, the appliance becomes
very hot during use. You should wear oven mitts.
Ensure that the appliance is standing both rmly and upright BEFORE
switching it on.
Do NOT move the Preserving Boiler after it has heated up!
WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Defective components may only be replaced with original replacement
parts. Only by using original replacement parts can it be assured that the
safety requirements are being complied with.
Ensure that the appliance, the power cable and the plug cannot come into
contact with sources of heat such as hot plates or open ames.
Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control system to
operate the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used.
NOTICE
A repair to the appliance during the warranty period may only be carried
out by a customer service department authorised by the manufacturer,
non-compliance will mean that successional warranty claims for subsequent
damages cannot be considered.

Setting up and connecting to the mains

Unpacking
Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the
packaging.
Remove all packing material.
Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The return of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw materials and
reduces the amount of generated waste. Dispose of the packaging material that
is no longer needed as per the locally established regulations.
NOTICE
If possible retain the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
period, so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can ideally pack the
appliance for its return.
Appliance set up and making ready for use

Completely unwind the power cable from the cable storage 8.
Place the appliance on a level and slip-free surface. Ensure that a mains
power socket is easily accessible.
Clean the appliance as described in the chapter Cleaning and Care.
Insert the plug into a mains power socket. The display lights up, a signal tone
is heard.
NEVER operate the appliance in a no-load condition! The appliance
could be irreparably damaged!
When it is hot, take hold of the appliance ONLY by means of the heat
insulated handles 2. Risk of Burns!
Fill the appliance with about 5 liters of water and allow it to boil for 20
minutes (see the section Switching the appliance on and o). After it has
boiled, pour this water away.

NOTICE
On the rst use the generation of a slight smell may occur, this is due
to residues from the production. It is completely harmless and disperses
after a short time. Provide for sucient ventilation, for example, open a
window.
Using the appliance

Switching the appliance on and o
1) Using the control dial Temperature 9, set the desired temperature. You
can set the temperature in 1C steps. A signal tone sounds for every 5C.
The set temperature appears in the display indicator Set Temperature 7.
2) Using the control dial Minutes 3 set the desired cooking time in minutes.
You can set the time in 1 minute steps. A signal tone sounds for every
5 minutes. The set time appears in the display indicator Minutes 5.
3) Press the START/STOP 9 heating button. The heating begins. The heating
progress in indicated through the continous beam
. The momentary
heating temperature is shown in the display indicator Current Temperature
6. Once the heating up is complete, signal tones sound, appears in
the display and the time set in the display indicator Minutes 5 begins to
count down.
NOTICE
The backlight of the display switches itself o automatically about 5 minutes
after the last activation of a control knob. The display switches itself back
on upon the activation of a control knob.
As soon as the set time period has expired, signal tones sound. The appliance
switches itself o. and
extinguish in the display.
NOTICE
To stop a heating process or a boiling process, press the heating START/
STOP 9 button.
4) When the appliance is not in use, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains
power socket.

NOTICE
To be understood under the term preserving is the conservation of foodstus by, amongst others, the eects of heat. Dependent upon the type and
mass of the items to be preserved, a dierentiation is made between the
processes of sterilisation and pasteurisation. In sterilisation, the items to be
preserved are heated to a temperature of at least 100C.
With pasteurisation, the heating temperature lies at around 80C.
For domestic purposes, pasteurisation is sucient.
For this, one needs the appropriate preserving jars, with screw-tops or lids
with rubber rings.
NOTICE
Preserve only fresh foods. Overripe fruits or vegetables are not suitable for
preserving.
Pay heed to the cleanliness of the jars! Ideally, boil the jars for around 5-7
minutes before lling them with foodstus. This will ensure all germs and
bacteria have been killed.
1) Place the preserving grill 4 in the preserving boiler.
2) Place the lled and tightly sealed jars on the preserving grill 4.
NOTICE
A maximum of 14 1-liter preserving jars (diameter 11.5 cm / Height
13.2 cm) in two layers, one above the other, can be pasteurised/sterilised.
3) Fill the preserving boiler with sucent water to ensure that the upper jars are
submersed to at least 3/4 of their height. Ensure that the preserving jars in
the lower layer are rmly sealed, so that water cannot inltrate them.
4) Close the preserving boiler with the lid 1.
5) Using the control dial Temperature 9, set the desired temperature.

NOTICE
The time periods specied in the tables refer to the actual cooking time.
The time period begins therefore rst when the preserving boiler has
reached the set temperature. With a completely full appliance this can
take up to 90 minutes!
6) Using the control dial Minutes 3, set the cooking time specied in the
table.
7) Start the appliance by pressing the heating START/STOP 9 button. Signal
tones sound and the heating begins. Once the heating up is complete, signal
tones sound, appears in the display and the time set in the display
indicator Minutes 5 begins to count down. As soon as the set time period
has expired, signal tones sound. The appliance switches itself o. and
extinguish in the display.

8) Position a heat resistent container under the pouring tap 0 and press the
pouring lever q down. The water drains itself.
9) When the water has drained away allow the preserving jars to cool down.
Heating and keeping liquids warm

Fill it with liquids to NO FURTHER that the MAX level marking! Otherwise, the liquid could overow!
1) Pour the liquid (for example, mulled wine or cocoa) into the preserving
boiler.
2) Place the lid 1 onto the preserving boiler.
3) Using the control dial Temperature 9, set the desired temperature.
4) Press the button TIMER 3.

5) Regularly stir the liquid so that the heat is evenly distributed.

6) When the desired temperature has been reached, signal tones will sound.
You can drain o liquids without solid particles through the tap 0:
Do not pour o liquids with solid constituents, for example, soups.
The solids will block the pouring tap 0!
1) To do so, hold a cup or similar under the tap 0 and press the dispensing
lever q downwards.
2) When the desired amount of liquid is in the cup, release the dispensing lever
q.
NOTICE
Should you wish to pour o a large volume of liquid, pull the pouring lever
q upwards until it stays in position. Then you do not have to hold the pouring
lever q.
NOTICE
You can also keep stews warm in the preserving boiler. They do however
need to be stirred regularly to prevent them sticking to the bottom of the
appliance.
Overheating protection
This appliance is tted with an overheating protector.
Overheating may occur if there is too little or no liquid in the preserving boiler.
In this case, signal tones sound and the symbol blinks in the display. In this
case, immediately pour some liquid into the appliance.
If no liquid is added, the appliance switches itself o after 5 minutes. Once you
have topped it up with liquid you can restart the appliance.

Cleaning and Care

Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket!
Otherwise, there is the risk of receiving an electric shock!
Let the appliance cool down before cleaning it. Risk of Burns!
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
The appliance could be irreparably damaged!
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These could attack
the upper surfaces and irreparably damage the appliance.
Clean the appliance with a lightly moist cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild
detergent on the cloth.
Clean the display with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Clean the preserving grill 4 in a mild soapy solution and rinse it well with
clear water.

Cleaning the pouring tap

To clean the pouring tap 0 thoroughly, you can unscrew the pouring lever q.
1) Dismantle the pouring lever q.
2) Place the pouring lever q in a mild soapy solution and swirl it back and
forth.
3) Rinse it o with clear water.
4) To clean the pouring tap 0 allow a mild soapy solution to ow through it.
Should there be stubborn soiling on the inside of the pouring tap 0 use a
pipe cleaner or similar to remove it.
5) Afterwards, rinse the pouring tap 0 through with clear water.
6) Re-assemble the pouring lever q back on to the pouring tap 0.
Scale removal
Deposits of scale on the bottom of the appliance lead to increased energy
consumption and reduce the service life of the appliance.
Descale the appliance as soon as scale deposits become apparent.
1) Use a standard commercial descaling product. Proceed as described in the
instructions for usage of the descaler.
2) After descaling, rinse the appliance with lots of clean and clear water.

Wind the cable around the cable retainer 8 and insert the plug into the plug
holder in the middle of the appliance base.
Store the preserving boiler at a cool and dry location.
Recipes
Coarse liver sausage
2 kg Bellypork with rind
500 g Pig liver
500 g Onions
100 g Pork dripping
2 Tsp crushed Allspice
1 Tbsp Thyme and Marjoram, dried
1 Tsp white Pepper
1 Tbsp Salt
Preparation
Boil the bellypork for 1.5 hours in salt water and then allow it all to cool.
Subsequently, turn it through a mediem meat grinder disc. Turn the liver through
a ne hole grinder disc.
Dice the onions and cook them in dripping until glassy. Add the meat, liver,
spices and a 1/4 liter of the pork belly broth and then stir it all vigorously.
Immediately ll the mixture into prepared jars. Fill the jars only to 1/3!
Boil the jars for about 2 hours at about 98C.
This recipe can be varied in dierent ways: for example, add various herbs,
garlic or cubed bacon.

Pumpkin, sweet and sour

1/4 l Wine vinegar
1 kg Sugar
Juice and rind of one Lemon
a Ginger root ( fresh ginger cut into slices)
a stick of Cinnamon
a few Cloves
Preparation
Halve the pumpkin and remove the pith. Peel the pumpkin and cut it into small
cubes. Weigh the pumpkin cubes and wash them. Cover them in a bowl with a
diluted vinegar solution (use a 1/2 liter of vinegar and 1 liter of water for 2 kg of
pumpkin esh). Let the pumpkin cubes stand in it for 12 hours. On the next day,
pour the solution away and leave the pumpkin cubes to drain well.
Prepare the decoction out of:
1/4 liter wine vinegar, 1 kilogram of sugar, the juice and rind of 1 lemon, 1
sliced fresh ginger root - as a substitute, 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder, 1 stick
of cinnamon, some cloves (about a tablespoon full, as a substitute, ground).
Boil the decoction up and cook the pumpkin cubes in it until glassy.
Fill the pumpkin cubes into preserving jars. Bring the decoction to the boil and
then thicken it. Pour it over the pumpkin cubes and seal the preserving jars.
The preserving jars may only be lled to 1/3!
Let the pumpkins cook at 90C for about 30 minutes in the preserving boiler.

Caramel Pears

1.5 kg pears (rm/ripe)

150 g sugar
750 ml water
Preparation
Peel the pears. Quarter them and remove the cores. Caramelise the sugar in a
pan.
Pour the water into the pan and boil it until the sugar is dissolved. Place the pears
into the pre-prepared glasses.
Pour the caramel juice into the glasses so that the pears are covered. Leave some
space to the top edge of the glass jars and seal them well.
Let the pears boil in the preserver at 90 C for about 30 minutes.
Strawberry Jam
Remove the stalks and wash the strawberries. Puree the strawberries. Sprinkle
them with preserving sugar at a ratio of 1:1 (1000 g of strawberries to 1000 g
of sugar). Let it stand overnight and stir it occasionally.
Fill the strawberries into preserving jars (ll them to only only 2/3 full) and seal
the jars well.
Let the strawberries cook at 80C for about 25 minutes in the preserving boiler.
Disposing of the appliance

Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or via your
communal waste disposal facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your local waste disposal centre.

delivery.

Informacije u vezi sa ovim uputama za rukovanje

Ove upute za rukovajne predstavljaju sastavni dio automata za ukuhavanje

SEAD 1800 A1 (u nastavku oznaen kao ureaj) i daju Vam vane napomene
za namjensku uporabu, sigurnost, prikljuivanje i posluivanje ureaja.
Upute za rukovanje moraju stalno stajati na raspolaganju u blizini ureaja. Ove
upute moraju proitati i primijeniti sve osobe zaduene za posluivanje ureaja
i uklanjanje smetnji.
Sauvajte ove upute za rukovanje i zajedno sa ureajem ih predajte slijedeem
vlasniku.

Sigurnosne napomene
U ovom poglavlju ete primiti vane sigurnosne napomene u vezi rukovanja
ureajem.

Ovaj ureaj odgovara propisanim sigurnosnim odredbama. Nenamjenska

uporaba moe dovesti do ozljeda osoba i do nastanka predmetne tete.
Za sigurno rukovanje ureajem obratite panju na slijedee sigurnosne napomene:
OPASNOST - STRUJNI UDAR!
Ureaj prije uporabe kontrolirajte i ustanovite da li postoje vidljiva vanjska
oteenja. Ureaj koji je oteen ili je pao ne pustite u rad.
Oteene mrene utikae i kablove neizostavno dajte zamijeniti od strane
autoriziranog strunog osoblja ili od servisa za kupce, kako biste izbjegli
nastanak opasnosti.
Popravke ureaja smiju vriti iskljuivo autorizirani struni pogoni ili servis
za kupce. Nestruno izvedene popravke mogu uzrokovati opasnosti za
korisnika. Osim toga pravo na jamstvo prestaje vaiti.
Osigurajte, da postolje sa elektrinim prikljucima nikad ne doe u dodir
s vodom! Pustite postolje da se u potpunosti osui, ako je sluajno postao
vlaan.
Obratite panju na to, da u radu ureaja mreni kabel nikada ne bude
vlaan ili mokar. Provodite ga na taj nain, da ne moe biti ugnjeen ili
oteen na drugi nain.
Nakon uporabe ureaja uvijek izvucite mreni utika iz utinice. Samo
iskljuivanje ureaja nije dovoljno, jer je jo uvijek prisutan mreni napon
u ureaju, dok se mreni utika nalazi u utinici.
Osigurajte, da mreni kabel ne doe u dodir sa vruim dijelovima ureaja.

UPOZORENJE - OPASNOST OD OZLJEDA!

Ovaj ureaj nije namijenjen da bude koriten od osoba (ukljuujui djecu)
sa ogranienim zikim, senzorikim ili duevnim sposobnostima ili od
osoba sa pomanjkanjem znanja i/ili iskustva, osim ako ove osobe stoje
pod nadzorom druge osobe zaduene za njihovu sigurnost ili ako im takva
osoba daje naputke u vezi naina rukovanja ureajem.

Djeca bi trebala biti pod nadzorom, ime treba biti osigurano da se ne

mogu igrati ovim ureajem.
Moe doi do istupanja vruih oblaka pare. Spremnik se osim toga tijekom
pogona ureaja jako zagrijava. Zbog toga nosite kuhinjske zatitne
rukavice.
Osigurajte da ureaj stoji stabilno i okomito, prije nego to ga ukljuujete.
Nakon zagrijavanja ureaj vie ne premjetajte!
PANJA - PREDMETNA TETA!
Defektni gradbeni dijelovi smiju biti zamijenjeni iskljuivo originalnim
zamjenskim dijelovima. Samo kod takvih dijelova je zajameno ispunjenje
sigurnosnih zahtjeva.
Osigurajte da ureaj, mreni kabel ili mreni utika ne dou u dodir sa
izvorima topline poput ploa tednjaka ili otvorenih plamena.
Ne koristite eksterni rasklopni sat ili odvojeni daljinski sustav za rad sa
ureajem.
Ureaj za vrijeme rada nikada ne ostavite bez nadzora.
NAPOMENA
Popravak ureaja za vrijeme trajanja jamstvenog roka smije izvriti
iskljuivo servis za kupce autoriziran od proizvoaa, jer u protivnom
kod nastupajuih teta ureaja vie ne postoji vaee pravo na jamstvo.

Postavljanje i prikljuivanje
Raspakiranje
Izvadite sve dijelove ureaja i upute za rukovanje iz kartona.
Odstranite sav materijal pakiranja.

Zbrinjavanje pakiranja
Pakiranje titi ureaj od transportnih oteenja. Materijali pakiranja su izabrani
prema ekolokim kriterijima i prema kriterijima mogunosti zbrinjavanja i stoga
mogu biti reciklirani.
Vraanje pakiranja u kruni tok materijala tedi sirovine i umanjuje koliinu
otpada. Materijale pakiranja koji Vam vie nisu potrebni zbrinite u skladu sa
mjesnim vaeim propisima.
NAPOMENA
Po mogunosti za vrijeme vaenja jamstvenog roka ureaja sauvajte originalno pakiranje, kako biste ureaj u sluaju koritenja prava na jamstvo
mogli uredno zapakirati.
Postavljanje ureaja i dovoenje ureaja u stanje

pripravnosti za rad
Mreni kabel potpuno odmotajte sa kabelskog namataa 8.
Ureaj postavite na ravnu povrinu koja ne klizi. Obratite panju na to,
da mrena utinica bude lako dostupna.
Oistite ureaj na nain opisan u poglavlju "ienje i odravanje".
Mreni utika utaknite u utinicu. Display svijetli i oglaava se signalni zvuk.
Ureaj nikada ne pogonite, kada je prazan! Ureaj u tom sluaju moe
biti nepopravljivo oteen!
Ureaj u vruem stanju hvatajte iskljuivo za rukohvate 2. Opasnost od
opeklina!
Napunite ca. 5 litara vode u ureaj i pustite da kuha 20 minuta (vidi poglavlje
"Ukljuivanje i iskljuivanje ureaja"). Vodu nakon prokuhavanja odlijte.

NAPOMENA
Prilikom prvog putanja ureaja u pogon uslijed tvari preostalih nakon
procesa izrade moe doi do razvijanja blagog mirisa. To je potpuno
bezopasna pojava, koja nakon nekog vremena nestaje. Osigurajte
dostatno prozraivanje, primjerice otvorite jedan prozor.

Uporaba ureaja
Ukljuivanje i iskljuivanje ureaja
1) Pomou okretnog regulatora Temperatura 9 podesite eljenu temperaturu.
Temperaturu moete podesiti u koracima od po 1C. Svakih 5C se
oglaava signalni zvuk. Podeena temperatura se pojavljuje u obliku prikaza
podeena temperatura 7.
2) eljeno vrijeme ukuhavanja u minutama podesite preko okretnog regulatora
Minute 3. Vrijeme moete podesiti u koracima od po 1 minute. Svakih
5 minuta se oglaava signalni zvuk. Podeeno vrijeme se pojavljuje u obliku
prikaza na displayu Minute 5.
3) Pritisnite tipku za grijanje START/STOP 9. Zagrijavanje zapoinje. Grijanje
prikazuju pokretne povrine
. Na prikazu displaya aktuelna temperatura 6 se pokazuje trenutna temperatura zagrijavanja. im je zagrijavanje
okonano, oglaavaju se signalni zvukovi i na displayu se pojavljuje ,
a podeeno vrijeme prikazano na displayu pod Minute 5 poinje tei.
NAPOMENA
Pozadinsko osvjetljenje displaya se ca. 5 minuta nakon zadnjeg aktiviranja
okretnog regulatora automatski iskljuuje. Aktiviranjem okretnog regulatora
display se ponovo ukljuuje.
Nakon to istekne podeeno vrijeme, oglaavaju se signalni zvukovi.
Ureaj se iskljuuje. i
se gase na displayu.
NAPOMENA
Za prekidanje postupka zagrijavanja ili ukuhavanja pritisnite tipku za
grijanje START/STOP 9.
4) Kada ureaj ne koristite, uvijek izvucite mreni utika iz utinice.

Ukuhavanje
NAPOMENA
Pod ukuhavanjem podrazumijevamo konzerviranje namirnica uz utjecaj
visoke temperature. Ovisno o vrsti i koliini namirnica za ukuhavanje
razlikujemo postupke steriliziranja i pasteriziranja. Prilikom steriliziranja
namirnice se zagrijavaju na najmanje 100C.
Prilikom pasteriziranja temperature zagrijavanja se kreu oko 80C.
Za potrebe domainstva pasteriziranje je dovoljno.
U tu svrhu potrebne su odgovarajue staklenke za ukuhavanje namirnica
sa zatvaraem na zavrtanje ili sa kapama sa gumenim prstenima.

NAPOMENA
Konzervirajte iskljuivo svjee namirnice. Prezrelo voe i povre nije prikladno za ukuhavanje.
Obratite panju na istou staklenki za ukuhavanje! Najbolje staklenke
5 - 7 minuta prije umetanja namirnica prokuhajte. Time e biti unitene sve
klice i bakterije.
1) Umetnite reetku za ukuhavanje 4 u automat za ukuhavanje.
2) Postavite napunjene i dobro zatvorene staklenke na reetku za ukuhavanje 4.
NAPOMENA
Pasterizirati/sterilizirati moete maksimalno 14 litarske staklenke (promjera
11,5 cm /visine 13,2 cm) u dva reda jedan iznad drugog.
3) Napunite toliko vode u ureaj, da najmanje 3/4 gornjeg reda staklenki
stoji u vodi. Obratite panju na to, da staklenke u donjem redu budu dobro
zatvorene, tako da voda ne moe prodirati unutra.
4) Zatvorite ureaj sa poklopcem 1.

NAPOMENA
U tablicama navedeni vremenski rasponi se odnose na stvarno vrijeme ukuhavanja. Vremenski raspon dakle zapoinje tek onda, kada je automat za
ukuhavanje dostigao podeenu temperaturu. Zagrijavanje punog ureaja
moe trajati i do 90 minuta!
6) Podesite vrijeme ukuhavanja navedeno u tablici pomou okretnog regulatora
Minute 3.
7) Pokrenite ureaj tako, to ete tipku za grijanje START/STOP 9 pritisnuti.

2) Postavite poklopac 1 na automat za ukuhavanje.

NAPOMENA
Kada elite toiti vee koliine tekuine, povucite polugu za toenje q
prema gore, dok ne ostane vrsto na svom mjestu. Onda polugu za
toenje q ne morate drati.
NAPOMENA
U ureaju moete odrati temperaturu skuhanog variva. Morate pritom
redovno vriti mijeanje variva, kako ona ne bi zagorjela
na dnu ureaja.
Zatita od pregrijavanja
Ovaj ureaj je opremljen zatitom od pregrijavanja.
Do pregrijavanja moe doi, kada se u ureaju nalazi premala koliina tekuine
ili kada tekuina potpuno nedostaje. U tom sluaju se oglaavaju signalni zvukovi

Prije svakoga ienja izvucite mreni utika iz mrene utinice! U protivnom

postoji opasnost od strujnog udara!
Ureaj prije ienja ostavite da se ohladi. Opasnost od opeklina!
Ureaj nikada ne zaronite u vodu ili u druge tekuine! Opasnost od
strujnog udara!
Ne koristite ribajua ili jetkajua sredstva za ienje. Takva sredstva mogu
napasti povrinu i ureaj nepopravljivo otetiti.
Oistite ureaj pomou blago navlaene krpe. U sluaju tvrdokornih
oneienja dodajte blago sredstvo za pranje sua na krpu.
Display oistite uz pomo meke krpe, koja ne isputa vlakna.
Oistite reetku za ukuhavanje 4 u blagoj sapunskoj luini i isperite je
bistrom vodom.

Da biste slavinu za toenje 0 temeljito oistili, moete polugu za toenje q
odvrnuti.
1) Odvrnite polugu za toenje q.

2) Stavite polugu za toenje q u blagu sapunsku luinu i pomiite je lijevo-desno.

3) Isperite je sa bistrom vodom.
4) Za ienje slavine za toenje 0 pustite da kroz nju protie blaga sapunska
luina. U sluaju tvrdokornih oneienja moete unutranjost slavine za
toenje 0 oistiti pomou ureaja za ienje lule.
5) Nakon toga pustite da bistra voda kroz slavinu za toenje 0 protie.
6) Zavrtanjem polugu za toenje q ponovo privrstite na slavini za toenje 0.
Odstranjivanje vapnenih naslaga

Vapnene naslage na dnu ureaja dovode do gubitka energije i utjeu na vijek
trajanja ureaja.
Odstranite vapnene naslage, im ih uoite na dnu ureaja.
1) Koristite uobiajeno sredstvo za odstranjivanje vapnenih naslaga. Postupite
na nain opisan u uputama za uporabu sredstva za odstranjivanje vapnenih
naslaga.
2) Nakon odstranjivanja vapnenih naslaga ureaj oistite pomou velike
koliine bistre vode.

Namotajte mreni kabel na kabelski namata 8 i utaknite mreni utika u dra
na sredini dna ureaja.

Gruba jetrena pateta
2 kg svinjska potrbuina sa koicom
500 g svinjske jetre
500 g luka
100 g svinjske masti
2 TL usitnjenog pimenta
1 V timijana i majorana, u suenom stanju
1 M bijelog papra
1 V soli
Pripravljanje
Kuhajte potrbuinu 1,5 sati u slanoj vodi i u istoj vodi ostavite da se ohladi.
Nakon toga je sameljite uz pomo srednje grube ploe za mljevenje mesa.
Jetru propustite kroz nu plou sa otvorima za mlevenje.
Luk izreite u kockice i pirjajte ga u masnoi dok ne poprimi stakleni izgled.
Zatim dodajte meso, jetru, zaine i 1/4 litre mesne juhe, te sve zajedno dobro
promijeajte. Nastalu masu umetnite u pripremljene staklenke. Napunite samo
1/3 staklenke!
Ukuhajte staklenke u trajanju od ca. 2 sata na temperaturi od 98C.
Ovaj recept moete na razne naine varirati: primjerice sa raznim zainskim
biljkama, enjakom ili dodavanjem unke narezane na kockice.

nekoliko klinia
Pripravljanje
Raspolovite bundevu i izvadite sr. Oljutite bundevu i izreite je na sitne kockice.
Izvaite kockice bundeve i operite ih. U jednoj zdjeli ih prelijte sa razrjeenim
octom (na 2 kile mesa bundeve po pola litre octa i jedna litra vode). Ostavite
kockice bundeve da u ovoj mjeavini stoje 12 sati. Narednog dana odlijte vodu
i dobro ocijedite kockice od bundeve.
Pripremite juhu:
1/4 litre vinskog octa, 1 kila eera, sok i koru od jednog limuna, 1 komad (korijen)
izrezanog svjeeg umbira - alternativno pola male lice umbira u prahu, 1
pruti cimeta, nekoliko klinia (ca. jedna velika lica, alternativno mljeveni).
Prokuhajte juhu i u njoj kuhajte kockice bundeve, dok ne poprime staklasti izgled.
Napunite kockice bundeve u staklenke. Juhu jo jednom prokuhajte i zatim zgusnite.
Prelijte juhu preko kockica bundeve i zatvorite staklenke. Staklenke smiju biti
napunjene samo do 1/3 zapremine!
Ostavite bundevu da se na 90C ca. 30 minuta ukuhava u automatu za ukuhavanje.

Pripravljanje
Ogulite kruke. Izreite ih na etvrtine i odstranite kuice sa koticama.
Karamelizirajte eer u tavi. Ulijte vodu u tavu i toliko je dugo prokuhajte, dok se
eer ne rastopi.
Umetnite kruke u pripremljene staklenke.
Ulijete karameliziran sok u staklenke, tako da kruke budu prekrivene. Ostavite
neto mjesta do ruba staklenki i staklenke dobro zatvorite.
Kruke na temperaturi od 90C ca. 30 minuta ukuhajte u automatu za ukuhavanje.
Kontira od jagoda
Odstranite peteljke i operite jagode. Pirirajte jagode. Pospite jagode sa eerom
za eliranje u omjeru 1:1 (na 1000 g jagoda 1000 g eera). Ostavite jagode
da stoje jednu no i promijeajte ih.
Napunite jagode u staklenke (samo do 2/3 zapremine) i dobro zatvorite
staklenke.
Kuhajte jagode na 80C ca. 25 minuta u automatu za ukuhavanje.

Ureaj niukom sluaju ne bacajte u obino kuno smee.
Ovaj proizvod podlijee europskoj smjernici 2002/96/EC.

Informaii despre acest manual de utilizare
Acest manual de utilizare face parte din aparatul automat de ert SEAD 1800
A1 (numit n continuare aparat) i v ofer indicaii importante despre utilizarea
conform destinaiei, despre siguran, precum i despre conectarea i operarea
aparatului.

Acest manual trebuie s e disponibil n orice moment n apropierea aparatului.

Informaiile coninute trebuie citite i aplicate de ecare persoan care va utiliza
aparatul sau de ctre persoanele nsrcinate cu remedierea defeciunilor.
Pstrai acest manual de utilizare i predai-l posesorilor ulteriori ai aparatului.

Aceast documentaie este protejat de legea privind drepturile de autor.
Multiplicarea, respectiv copierea inclusiv n extras, precum i reproducerea

Indicaii de siguran
n acest capitol sunt prezentate indicaii de siguran importante pentru utilizarea
acestui aparat.
Acest aparat corespunde dispoziiilor de siguran prescrise. Utilizarea necorespunztoare poate provoca daune umane i materiale.
Pentru utilizarea n siguran a aparatului, respectai urmtoarele indicaii de
siguran:

PERICOL DE ELECTROCUTARE!
nainte de utilizare vericai dac aparatul prezint defeciuni exterioare
vizibile. Nu punei n funciune aparatul, dac este defect sau dac a czut
jos.
Dac tecrul sau cablul de alimentare se defecteaz, solicitai imediat
repararea de ctre personal specializat sau de ctre serviciul clieni pentru
a evita periclitrile.
Reparaia aparatului trebuie realizat numai de ctre un specialist sau de
ctre serviciul pentru clieni. n urma reparaiilor necorespunztoare pot
aprea pericole pentru beneciar. n plus, se pierde garania.
Asigurai-v c suportul, care conine conexiunile electrice, nu intr n contact cu apa! Dac, din greeal suportul s-a udat, ateptai s se usuce.
Asigurai-v c n timpul funcionrii cablul de alimentare nu se va uda
niciodat. Ghidai cablul astfel nct s nu se blocheze sau s se deterioreze
ntr-un alt mod.
Dup utilizare, scoatei totdeauna cablul din priz. Simpla oprire nu este
sucient, deoarece n aparat mai exist nc tensiune, att timp ct tecrul
este n priz.
Asigurai-v c nu va exista n niciun moment contact ntre cablul de alimentare i componentele erbini ale aparatului.

AVERTIZARE - PERICOL DE RNIRE!

Acest aparat nu este destinat utilizrii de ctre persoane (inclusiv copii)
cu abiliti zice, senzoriale sau mentale limitate sau cu experien i/sau
cunotine limitate, cu excepia cazului n care sunt supravegheate de ctre
o persoan responsabil cu sigurana lor sau au primit instruciuni de la
aceasta privind modul de utilizare a aparatului.
Supravegheai copiii pentru a v asigura c nu se joac cu aparatul.

Se pot degaja aburi erbini. n plus, vasul este foarte erbinte n timpul
funcionrii. De aceea se recomand purtarea de mnui de buctrie.
nainte de a porni aparatul, asigurai-v c aparatul este aezat ntr-o
poziie stabil i vertical.
Dup nclzire, nu mai micai aparatul din loc!
ATENIE - PAGUBE MATERIALE!
Componentele defecte trebuie nlocuite numai cu piese de schimb
originale. Numai prin utilizarea acestor piese este garantat ndeplinirea
cerinelor de siguran.
Asigurai-v c aparatul, cablul de alimentare sau tecrul nu se vor atinge
de suprafee erbini precum plite i c nu vor intra n contact cu cri.
Nu utilizai temporizatoare externe sau sisteme separate de comand de
la distan pentru a opera aparatul.
Nu lsai aparatul s funcioneze nesupravegheat.
INDICAIE
n timpul perioadei de garanie, repararea aparatului trebuie realizat
numai de ctre serviciul clieni autorizat de ctre productor. Dac nu se
respect aceast prevedere, nu se mai acord garanie pentru defeciunile
ulterioare.

Scoatei toate componentele aparatului i instruciunile de utilizare din

ambalaj.
ndeprtai toate ambalajele.

Eliminarea ambalajelor
Ambalajul protejeaz aparatul mpotriva daunelor din timpul transportului.
Materialele de ambalare au fost selectate innd seama de compatibilitatea
cu mediul nconjurtor i de aspectele tehnice de eliminare, putnd astfel
reciclate.
Reintroducerea ambalajelor n circuitul de materiale contribuie la economia de
materie prim i reduce cantitatea de deeuri. Eliminai ambalajele de care nu
mai avei nevoie conform prevederilor locale n vigoare.
INDICAIE
Pstrai ambalajul original pe toat perioada de garanie, pentru a putea
ambala corespunztor aparatul n cazul n care trebuie expediat pentru
reparare.
Amplasarea i pregtirea aparatului pentru utilizare

Desfurai complet cablul de alimentare de pe mosorul de cablu 8.
Aezai aparatul pe o suprafa plan i care nu alunec. Asigurai-v c
priza este uor accesibil.
Curai aparatul n modul descris n capitolul Curarea i ngrijirea.
Introducei tecrul n priz. Ecranul se aprinde; se aude un semnal sonor.
Nu utilizai aparatul dac este gol! Aparatul se poate defecta iremediabil!
Cnd este cald, prindei aparatul numai de mnere 2. Pericol de arsuri!
Turnai cca 5 litri de ap n aparat i ateptai 20 de minute s arb (a se
vedea seciunea Pornirea i oprirea aparatului). Aruncai apa dup ce a
ert.

INDICAIE
La prima punere n funciune, din cauza reziduurilor din fabricaie, se
poate forma un miros uor. Acesta nu este deloc duntor i dispare dup
scurt timp. Asigurai aerisirea sucient a ncperii, de exemplu, prin
deschiderea ferestrei.

Utilizarea aparatului
Pornirea i oprirea aparatului
1) Cu ajutorul butonului de reglare Temperatur 9, setai temperatura dorit.
Temperatura poate setat n trepte de cte 1C. La ecare 5C se aude
un semnal. Temperatura setat apare n aajul Temperatur setat 7.
2) Setai timpul de erbere dorit, n minute, de la butonul de reglare Minute 3.
Timpul poate setat n trepte de cte 1 minut. La ecare 5 minute se aude
un semnal. Timpul setat apare n aajul Minute 5.
3) Apsai tasta de nclzire START/STOP 9. ncepe procesul de nclzire.
Acesta este indicat prin barele derulante
. Pe aajul Temperatur
actual 6 este indicat temperatura de nclzire curent. Imediat dup
terminarea nclzirii, se aud semnalele sonore, pe ecran apare , iar
timpul setat ncepe s se deruleze n aajul Minute 5.
INDICAIE

Fierberea
INDICAIE
Prin erbere se nelege conservarea alimentelor sub aciunea cldurii.
n funcie de timpul i de greutatea produsului se disting procedurile de
sterilizare i de pasteurizare. n cazul sterilizrii, produsul este nclzit la
cel puin 100 C.
Pentru pasteurizare temperatura este de 80 C. Pentru utilizarea casnic,
este sucient pasteurizarea.
n acest scop, sunt necesare borcane de conservare cu capac letat sau cu
inele de cauciuc.

INDICAIE
Conservai numai alimente proaspete. Fructele sau legumele prea coapte
nu sunt potrivite pentru erbere.
Atenie la curenia borcanelor pentru conservare! Preferabil ca nainte de
umplere s erbei borcanele pentru conservare timp de cca 5-7 minute.
Astfel sunt distrui germenii i bacteriile.
1) Introducei grilajul de ert 4 n aparat.
2) Aezai borcanele umplute i bine nchise pe grtarul de erbere 4.
INDICAIE
O dat, se pot pasteuriza/steriliza maxim 14 borcane de 1 litru (diametru
11,5 cm/nlime 13,2 cm) aezate n dou straturi unul peste cellalt.

3/4. Asigurai-v c borcanele de pe rndul de jos sunt nchise bine, pentru

Turnai lichid cel mult pn la marcajul MAX! Altfel se poate ca lichidul s
dea peste!
1) Turnai lichidul (de exemplu vinul ert sau laptele cu cacao) n aparat.
2) nchidei capacul 1 aparatului.
4) Apsai tasta TIMER 3. Pe ecran apare

Putei extrage lichidele fr coninut solid prin intermediul robinetului de golire 0:
Nu golii prin robinet lichide care conin ingrediente solide, de exemplu
supe. Ingredientele solide obtureaz robinetul 0!

Protecia contra supranclzirii

Acest aparat este prevzut cu o siguran de protecie mpotriva temperaturilor
ridicate.
Aparatul se supranclzete dac n el exist o cantitate prea mic de lichide
sau dac este gol. n acest caz, se aud semnalele sonore, iar pe ecran apare
simbolul . Umplei imediat aparatul cu lichid.
Dac nu turnai lichid, aparatul se oprete dup 5 minute. Putei porni din nou
aparatul imediat ce l-ai umplut cu lichid.

Curarea i ngrijirea
nainte de ecare curare scoatei tecrul din priz. Altfel exist pericol
de electrocutare!
nainte de curare, ateptai ca aparatul s se rceasc. Pericol de arsuri!

se poate defecta iremediabil.
Nu utilizai substane de curare corozive sau abrazive. Acestea pot

Curai ecranul cu un material moale care nu las scame.

Curarea robinetului
Pentru curarea temeinic a robinetului 0, maneta q poate deurubat.
1) Deurubai maneta robinetului q.
2) Introducei maneta q n ap cu detergen i micai-o dintr-o parte i n
cealalt.
3) Cltii-o cu ap curat.

4) Pentru curare, prin robinet 0 trebuie s treac ap cu detergent. n cazul

murdriei persistente, putei cura interiorul robinetului 0 cu o sfoar de
curat.
5) Apoi, lsai s curg ap curat prin robinet 0.

ndeprtarea calcarului
Depunerile de calcar de pe fundul aparatului provoac pierderi de energie i
reduc durata de via a aparatului.
ndeprtai calcarul din aparat, imediat ce se observ depuneri de calcar.
1) Utilizai o soluie obinuit de ndeprtare a calcarului. Procedai n modul
descris n instruciunile agentului de ndeprtare a calcarului.
2) Dup aceasta, splai aparatul cu ap curat din abunden.

tiai-l cuburi mici. Cntrii cuburile de dovleac i splai-le. Vrsai cuburile de
dovleac ntr-un castron cu oet diluat (pentru 2 kg de dovleac cte 1/2 l oet i
1 l de ap). Lsai cuburile de dovleac s stea n ap cu oet timp de 12 ore. n
ziua urmtoare vrsai apa i lsai cuburile de dovleac s se scurg bine.
Pregtirea marinadei:
1/4 l de oet de vin, 1 kg de zahr, sucul i coaja unei lmi, 1 bucat (rdcin)
de ghimbir proaspt tiat rondele - sau 1/2 lingurie de praf de ghimbir, 1 b
de scorioar, nite cuioare (cca o lingur de oet).
Aducei marinada la temperatura de erbere i erbei cuburile de dovleac pn
devin sticloase.
Punei acum cuburile de dovleac n borcane. Mai lsai marinada s mai arb
o dat i apoi s se ngroae. Turnai-o peste cuburile de dovleac i nchidei
borcanele. Borcanele trebuie umplute doar 1/3!

Turnai siropul caramel n borcane, astfel nct perele s e acoperite. Lsai
puin loc liber pn la marginea borcanelor i nchidei-le bine.
Lsai perele s arb la 90C timp de cca 30 minute n automatul pentru
erbere.
Dulcea de cpuni
ndeprtai codiele i splai cpunii. Zdrobii cpunile. Presrai-le cu zahr
1:1 (la 1000 g de cpuni 1000 g de zahr). Lsai-le s stea cu zahr o
noapte i amestecai.
Umplei cpunii n borcane (numai 2/3) i nchidei borcanele.
Lsai cpunile cca 25 de minute n aparat la o temperatur de 80 C.
Eliminarea aparatului
Nu aruncai aparatul sub nicio form n gunoiul menajer obinuit.
Acest produs cade sub incidena directivei europene 2002/96/EC.
Eliminai aparatul prin intermediul unei rmei specializate i autorizate sau prin
intermediul serviciului local de eliminare a deeurilor. Respectai reglementrile

Einfhrung
Informationen zu dieser Bedienungsanleitung
Diese Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil des Einkochautomaten
SEAD 1800 A1 (nachfolgend als Gert bezeichnet) und gibt Ihnen wichtige
Hinweise fr den bestimmungsgemen Gebrauch, die Sicherheit, den Anschluss
sowie die Bedienung des Gertes.
Die Bedienungsanleitung muss stndig in der Nhe des Gertes verfgbar sein.
Sie ist von jeder Person zu lesen und anzuwenden, die mit der Bedienung und
Strungsbehebung des Gertes beschftigt ist.
Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung auf und geben Sie diese mit dem
Gert an Nachbesitzer weiter.

oder andersartiger Nutzung Gefahren ausgehen.
Das Gert ausschlielich bestimmungsgem verwenden.
Die in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen Vorgehensweisen
einhalten.
Ansprche jeglicher Art wegen Schden aus nicht bestimmungsgemer Verwendung, unsachgemen Reparaturen, unerlaubt vorgenommenen Vernderungen

Sicherheitshinweise
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang mit dem Gert.
Dieses Gert entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen.
Ein unsachgemer Gebrauch kann zu Personen- und Sachschden fhren.
Beachten Sie fr einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gert die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise:
GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!
Kontrollieren Sie das Gert vor der Verwendung auf uere sichtbare
Schden. Nehmen Sie ein beschdigtes oder heruntergefallenes Gert nicht
in Betrieb.
Lassen Sie beschdigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von autorisiertem
Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefhrdungen zu
vermeiden.

Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gert nur von autorisierten Fachbetrieben

oder dem Kundenservice durchfhren. Durch unsachgeme Reparaturen
knnen Gefahren fr den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Sockel mit den elektrischen Anschlssen niemals
mit Wasser in Berhrung kommt! Lassen Sie den Sockel erst vollstndig trocknen, wenn er versehentlich feucht geworden ist.
Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel niemals nass oder feucht
wird. Fhren Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder anderweitig beschdigt werden kann.
Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Ausschalten alleine gengt nicht, weil noch immer Netzspannung im Gert
anliegt, solange der Netzstecker in der Steckdose steckt.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzkabel nicht mit heien Gerteteilen in Berhrung kommt.

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
Dieses Gert ist nicht dafr bestimmt, durch Personen (einschlielich Kinder)
mit eingeschrnkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fhigkeiten
oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es
sei denn, sie werden durch eine fr ihre Sicherheit zustndige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gert zu benutzen ist.
Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit
dem Gert spielen.
Es knnen heie Dampfschwaden entweichen. Der Behlter ist zudem im
Betrieb sehr hei. Tragen Sie daher Topf-Handschuhe.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gert stabil und senkrecht steht, bevor Sie
dieses einschalten.
Versetzen Sie nach dem Erhitzen den Einkochautomaten nicht mehr!

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
Defekte Bauteile drfen nur gegen Original-Ersatzteile ausgetauscht
werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen ist gewhrleistet, dass sie die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfllen werden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gert, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
nicht mit heien Quellen wie Kochplatten oder oenen Flammen in Berhrung kommt.
Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fernwirksystem
um das Gert zu betreiben.
Lassen Sie das Gert whrend des Betriebs niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
HINWEIS
Eine Reparatur des Gertes whrend der Garantiezeit darf nur von einem
vom Hersteller autorisierten Kundendienst vorgenommen werden, sonst
besteht bei nachfolgenden Schden kein Garantieanspruch mehr.

Aufstellen und Anschlieen

Auspacken
Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gertes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem
Karton.
Entfernen Sie smtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schtzt das Gert vor Transportschden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltvertrglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewhlt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rckfhrung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr bentigte Verpackungsmaterialien gem den rtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

HINWEIS
Heben Sie wenn mglich die Originalverpackung whrend der Garantiezeit des Gertes auf, um das Gert im Garantiefall ordnungsgem
verpacken zu knnen.
Gert aufstellen und betriebsbereit machen

Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel vollstndig von der Kabelaufwicklung 8 ab.
Stellen Sie das Gert auf eine ebene und rutschfeste Flche. Achten Sie
darauf, dass die Netzsteckdose gut zu erreichen ist.
Reinigen Sie das Gert wie im Kapitel Reinigen und Pegen beschrieben.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose. Das Display leuchtet,
ein Signalton erklingt.
Betreiben Sie das Gert nie im Leerzustand! Das Gert kann irreparabel
beschdigt werden!
Fassen Sie das Gert im heien Zustand nur an den Grien 2 an.
Verbrennungsgefahr!
Fllen Sie ca. 5 Liter Wasser in das Gert und lassen Sie es fr 20 Minuten
kochen (siehe Abschnitt Gert ein- und ausschalten). Gieen Sie das
Wasser nach dem Aufkochen weg.

HINWEIS
Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme kann es, bedingt durch fertigungstechnische Rckstnde, zu leichter Geruchsentwicklung kommen. Das ist vllig
unschdlich und vergeht nach einiger Zeit. Sorgen Sie fr ausreichende
Belftung, nen Sie zum Beispiel ein Fenster.
Gert benutzen
Gert ein- und ausschalten
1) Stellen Sie mit dem Drehregler Temperatur 9 die gewnschte Temperatur
ein. Sie knnen die Temperatur in 1C-Schritten einstellen. Alle 5C ertnt
ein Signalton. Die eingestellte Temperatur erscheint in der Displayanzeige
eingestellte Temperatur 7.

2) Stellen Sie die gewnschte Einkochzeit in Minuten am Drehregler Minuten

3 ein. Sie knnen die Zeit im 1-Minuten-Schritten einstellen. Alle 5 Minuten
ertnt ein Signalton. Die eingestellte Zeit erscheint in der Displayanzeige
Minuten 5.
3) Drcken Sie die Taste Heizen START/STOP 9. Das Aufheizen beginnt.

Signaltne, im Display erscheint und die eingestellte Zeit im der
Displayanzeige Minuten 5 beginnt abzulaufen.
HINWEIS
Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung des Displays schaltet sich ca. 5 Minuten
nach der letzten Bettigung eines Drehreglers automatisch aus.
Durch Bettigen des Drehreglers schaltet sich das Display wieder ein.
Wenn die eingestellte Zeit abgelaufen ist, ertnen Signaltne. Das Gert schaltet
sich aus. und
erlschen im Display.
HINWEIS
Um einen Aufheizvorgang oder einen Einkochvorgang abzubrechen,
drcken Sie die Taste Heizen START/STOP 9.
4) Wenn Sie das Gert nicht benutzen, ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus
der Netzsteckdose.

Einkochen
HINWEIS
Unter Einkochen versteht man die Konservierung von Lebensmitteln durch
Hitzeeinwirkung. Je nach Art und Masse des Einkochgutes unterscheidet
man die Verfahren Sterilisieren und Pasteurisieren.
Beim Sterilisieren wird das Einkochgut auf mindestens 100C erhitzt. Beim
Pasteurisieren liegt die Erhitzungstemperatur bei 80C. Fr den Hausgebrauch ist das Pasteurisieren ausreichend.
Man bentigt hierfr entsprechende Einmachglser mit Schraubverschluss
oder Kappen mit Gummiringen.
HINWEIS
Konservieren Sie nur frische Lebenmittel. berreifes Obst oder Gemse ist
zum Einkochen nicht geeignet.
Achten Sie auf Sauberkeit bei den Einmachglsern! Kochen Sie die Einmachglser am besten vor dem Einfllen der Lebensmittel ca. 5 - 7 Minten
ab. Dann sind alle Keime und Bakterien abgettet.

1) Legen Sie das Einkochgitter 4 in den Einkochautomaten.

2) Stellen Sie die befllten und gut verschlossenen Einmachglser auf das
Einkochgitter 4.
HINWEIS
Es knnen maximal 14 1-Liter-Einmachglser (Durchmesser 11,5 cm /Hhe
13,2 cm) in zwei Lagen bereinander pasteurisiert/sterilisiert werden.
3) Fllen Sie so viel Wasser in den Einkochautomaten, bis die oberen Einmachglser mindestens zu 3/4 im Wasser stehen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die
Einmachglser in der unteren Lage gut verschlossen sind, damit kein Wasser
eindringen kann.
4) Schlieen Sie den Einkochautomaten mit dem Deckel 1.

HINWEIS
Die in den Tabellen angegebenen Zeitspannen beziehen sich auf die
tatschliche Einkochzeit. Die Zeitspanne beginnt also erst, wenn der Einkochautomat die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht hat.
Das Aufheizem kann bei vollem Gert bis zu 90 Minuten dauern!
6) Stellen Sie die in der Tabelle angegebene Einkochzeit mit dem Drehregler
Minuten 3 ein.
7) Starten Sie das Gert, indem Sie die Taste Heizen START/STOP 9 drcken.
Signaltne erklingen und das Aufheizen beginnt. Sobald das Aufheizen
abgeschlossen ist, erklingen Signaltne, im Display erscheint und die
eingestellte Zeit im der Displayanzeige Minuten 5 beginnt abzulaufen.
Wenn die eingestellte Einkochzeit abgelaufen ist, erklingen Signaltne. Das
erlschen im Display.

8) Stellen Sie ein temperaturresistentes Gef unter den Zapfhahn 0 und

drcken Sie den Zapfhebel q nach unten. Das Wasser luft heraus.
9) Wenn das heie Wasser abgelaufen ist, lassen Sie die Einmachglser
abkhlen.
Flssigkeiten aufwrmen / warmhalten

Fllen Sie Flssigkeiten hchstens bis zur MAX-Markierung ein! Ansonsten kann die Flssigkeit berlaufen!
1) Fllen Sie die Flssigkeit (zum Beispiel Glhwein oder Kakao) in den Einkochautomaten.
2) Setzen Sie den Deckel 1 auf den Einkochautomaten.

6) Wenn die gewnschte Temperatur erreicht ist, erklingen Signaltne.
Sie knnen Flssigkeiten ohne feste Bestandteile durch den Zapfhahn 0 abzapfen:
Zapfen Sie keine Flssigkeiten mit festen Bestandteilen, wie zum Beispiel
Suppen o... Die festen Bestandteile verstopfen den Zapfhahn 0!
1) Halten Sie hierzu einen Becher o.. unter den Zapfhahn 0 und drcken Sie
den Zapfhebel q nach unten.
2) Wenn sich die gewnschte Flssigkeitsmenge im Becher bendet, lsen Sie
den Zapfhebel q.
HINWEIS
Wenn Sie grere Flssigkeitsmengen zapfen wollen, ziehen Sie den
Zapfhebel q nach oben, bis er fest steht. Dann mssen Sie den Zapfhebel
q nicht festhalten.

HINWEIS
Sie knnen auch Eintpfe im Einkochautomaten warmhalten. Rhren Sie die
Eintpfe regelmig um, ansonsten brennen diese am Gerteboden an.
berhitzungsschutz
Dieses Gert ist mit einem berhitzungsschutz ausgestattet.
Zu einer berhitzung kann es kommen, wenn sich zuwenig oder keine Flssigkeit
im Einkochautomat bendet. In diesem Fall erklingen Signaltne und das Symbol
blinkt im Display. Fllen Sie in diesem Fall sofort Flssigkeit nach.
Wenn keine Flssigkeit nachgefllt wird, schaltet sich das Gert nach 5 Minuten
aus. Sobald Sie Flssigkeit nachgefllt haben, knnen Sie das Gert wieder
starten.

Reinigen und Pegen

Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose!
Ansonsten besteht Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!
Lassen Sie das Gert vor der Reinigung abkhlen. Verbrennungsgefahr!
Tauchen Sie das Gert niemals in Wasser oder andere Flssigkeiten!
Ansonsten wird das Gert irreparabel beschdigt!
Benutzen Sie keine scheuernden oder tzenden Reinigungsmittel. Diese
knnen die Oberche angreifen und das Gert irreparabel beschdigen.

Reinigen Sie das Gert mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch. Bei hartnckigeren Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Splmittel auf das Tuch.
Reinigen Sie das Display mit einem weichen, fusselfreien Tuch.
Reinigen Sie das Einkochgitter 4 in milder Seifenlauge und splen Sie es mit
klarem Wasser ab.

Reinigung des Zapfhahnes

Um den Zapfhahn 0 grndlich zu reinigen, knnen Sie den Zapfhebel q
abschrauben.
1) Schrauben Sie den Zapfhebel q ab.
2) Legen Sie den Zapfhebel q in milde Spllauge und bewegen Sie ihn hin
und her.
3) Splen Sie ihn mit klarem Wasser ab.
4) Lassen Sie, um den Zapfhahn 0 zu reinigen milde Spllauge durchlaufen.
Bei hartnckigen Verschmutzungen knnen Sie das Innere des Zapfhahnes
0 mit einem Pfeifenputzer reinigen.
5) Lassen Sie danach klares Wasser durch den Zapfhahn 0 laufen.
6) Schrauben Sie den Zapfhebel q wieder auf den Zapfhahn 0.

Entkalken
Kalkablagerungen am Gerteboden fhren zu Energieverlusten und beeintrchtigen die Lebensdauer des Gertes.
Entkalken Sie das Gert, sobald sich Kalkablagerungen zeigen.
1) Benutzen Sie einen handelsblichen Entkalker. Gehen Sie so vor, wie in der
Anleitung des Entkalkers beschrieben.
2) Reinigen Sie nach dem Entkalken das Gert mit viel klarem Wasser.

Aufbewahren
Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die Kabelaufwicklung 8 und stecken Sie den
Netzstecker in den Netzsteckerhalter in der Mitte des Gertebodens.
Bewahren Sie den Einkochautomaten an einem trockenem Ort auf.
Rezepte
Grobe Leberwurst
2 kg Schweinebauch mit Schwarte
500 g Schweineleber
500 g Zwiebeln

100 g Schweineschmalz
2 TL zerstoener Piment
1 EL Thymian und Majoran, getrocknet
1 TL weier Pfeer
1 EL Salz
Zubereitung
Kochen Sie den Schweinebauch 1,5 Stunden in Salzwasser und lassen Sie ihn
darin abkhlen.
Anschlieend drehen Sie ihn durch eine mittlere Fleischwolfscheibe. Drehen Sie
die Leber durch eine feine Lochscheibe.
Wrfeln Sie die Zwiebeln und dnsten Sie sie im Schmalz glasig. Geben Sie
dann Fleisch, Leber, Gewrze und 1/4 Liter der Schweinebauchbrhe dazu und
verrhren Sie diese krftig. Fllen Sie die Masse sofort in vorbereitete Glser.
Fllen Sie nur 1/3 des Glases!
Kochen Sie die Glser ca. 2 Stunden bei ca. 98C ein.
Dieses Rezept knnen Sie verschiedenartig variieren: zum Beispiel verschiedene
Kruter, Knoblauch oder Schinkenwrfel hinzugeben.

Saft und Schale von einer Zitrone
eine Ingwerwurzel (in Scheiben geschnittener frischer Ingwer)
eine Stange Zimt
einige Nelken
Zubereitung

Halbieren Sie den Krbis und entfernen Sie das Mark. Schlen Sie den Krbis
und schneiden Sie ihn in kleine Wrfel. Wiegen Sie die Krbiswrfel und
waschen Sie sie. bergieen Sie sie in einer Schssel mit verdnntem Essig (auf
2 Kilogramm Krbiseisch je 1/2 Liter Essig und 1 Liter Wasser). Lassen Sie die
Krbiswrfel 12 Stunden darin stehen. Schtten Sie am nchsten Tag das Wasser ab und lassen Sie die Krbiswrfel gut abtropfen.
Bereiten Sie den Sud aus:
1/4 Liter Weinessig, 1 Kilogramm Zucker, dem Saft und der Schale von 1
Zitrone, 1 Stck (Wurzel) in Scheiben geschnittenen frischen Ingwer - ersatzweise
1/2 Teelel Ingwerpulver, 1 Stange Zimt, einige Nelken (ca. ein Esslel voll,
ersatzweise gemahlen).
Kochen Sie den Sud auf und kochen Sie die Krbiswrfel darin glasig.
Fllen Sie die Krbiswrfel in Einmachglser. Lassen Sie den Sud noch einmal
aufkochen und dann eindicken. Gieen Sie ihn ber die Krbiswrfel und
verschieen Sie die Einmachglser. Die Einmachglser drfen nur zu 1/3 gefllt
sein!
Lassen Sie den Krbis bei 90C ca. 30 Minuten im Einkochautomaten einkochen.

Karamellbirnen
1,5 kg Birnen (fest/reif)
150 g Zucker
750 ml Wasser
Zubereitung
Schlen Sie die Birnen. Vierteln Sie diese und entfernen Sie das Kerngehuse.
Karamelisieren Sie den Zucker in einer Pfanne. Schtten Sie das Wasser in die
Pfanne und kochen Sie es solange auf, bis der Zucker gelst ist.
Fllen Sie die Birnen in die vorbereiteten Glser.
Schtten Sie den Karamellsaft in die Glser, so dass die Birnen bedeckt sind.
Lassen Sie zum Rand der Glser etwas Platz und verschlieen Sie die Glser gut.
Lassen Sie die Birnen bei 90C ca. 30 Minuten im Einkochautomaten einkochen.

Entfernen Sie die Stiele und waschen Sie die Erdbeeren. Prieren Sie die Erdbeeren. berstreuen Sie sie mit Gelierzucker 1:1 (auf 1000 g Erdbeeren 1000 g
Zucker). Lassen Sie sie eine Nacht ziehen und rhren Sie sie um.
Fllen Sie die Erdbeeren in Einmachglser (nur zu 2/3 fllen) und verschlieen
Sie die Einmachglser gut.
Kochen Sie die Erdbeeren bei 80C ca. 25 Minuten im Einkochautomaten ein.
Gert entsorgen
Werfen Sie das Gert keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmll.
