too complex for 4/5 students. 4/5 students could identify what the questions were
asking but could not form a complete sentence.

Assessment Analysis
Analysis of the post test results:
All students could now answer a question in a complete sentence. All students
conjugated an ar/er/ir verb correctly. All students could identify the form of a verb
and a stem of a verb. 6/7 students could identify a verb in the infinitive form.
Action plan for the pre-test:
The pretest results showed that some students had prior Spanish classes and some
students had never been exposed to this foreign language. Therefore, designing a
lesson was going to be difficult and I needed to decide what I wanted to pinpoint
about learning Spanish. Basic vocabulary was too easy and answering complex
sentences was too difficult so I need to design a lesson in between.
Action plan for the post test:
I decided to design a lesson that was aimed for a second year Spanish class and act
as if it was the first day of school. This allowed me to use a talking tool for the class
to introduce themselves and ask another student their name. We reviewed the
conjugation of ar/er/ir verbs and the steps of conjugating a verb. Also, how to
identify the subject of the sentence which indicates which conjugation to use. This
lesson was the right amount of difficulty for the various Spanish experiences in the
class.
