What a wonderful day of resurrection on Easter Sunday! I

want to thank all our members and staff persons who gave
of themselves to provide rich and engaging experiences
Holy Week and beyond. From the childrens Easter egg
hunt to the Maundy Thursday Seder Meal, and from the
contemplative Good Friday service to the grand celebration
of Easter Sunday, the services provided a powerful conclusion to our Lenten prayer focus, while also inspiring us to
see Christs presence with us as we joyfully journey onward
in the spirit of Easter.
And what better time to begin the ministry of Eastminsters newest Associate Pastor
than Easter! The Rev. Brian Marsh began his service among us by assisting with the
Sunrise Service Easter morning. Please introduce yourself to Brian and his wife Marya
(pronounced Mariah). The Marshes have a son, Connor, who is 7, and a second child
due in June.
Brian will work with EPCs young adults and provide leadership for Evangelism and
Membership. In addition, he will supervise the middle and high school youth directors, help with hospital visitation, congregational care, teaching, worship leadership and
more. Brian will regularly lead Jubilee Worship, while also helping out in the sanctuary
on occasion.
Brian grew up attending Fairview Presbyterian Church in North Augusta and graduated
in 2006 from Clemson University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked
as a Process Engineer for Bridgestone/Firestone at the Graniteville plant in South
Carolina for four years, then went to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he
received a Masters of Divinity in 2014. Brian served as Pastoral Resident at the First
Presbyterian Church in Corpus Christi, Texas before responding to Gods call to Eastminster.
Brian comes with strong
recommendations, brings
good gifts for ministry, and
offers a winsome witness to
our Risen Lord. Welcome,
Marshes!
See You Sunday,

Holy Week at EPC
