The Sisters spent the majority of this week at the Provo City Center Temple Open House. It has been such a privilege to serve these Sisters as well as those who come to see the temple. My companion and I are fighting being sick, but it is all good because I am trying to read the Book of Mormon in the last 100 days of my mission.

I want everybody to know that the subject of this e-mail is NOT
sarcasm because it is true! We spent the majority of this week at the Provo City Center Temple Open House working and coordinating the Sisters! It has been such a privilege to serve these Sisters as well as those who come to see the beautiful house of the Lord! No joke, if you are within driving distance of coming to the Provo City Center Tempe Open House, please come! You will NOT be disappointed in the slightest! There is nothing like being apart of another Temple Open House! I am grateful the Sisters are working hard and not complaining. I loved getting to know the Sisters in our mission at the Payson Temple Open House and it is a joy to get to know them during this Temple Open House as well! Please, come and see! Well this past week, I met the district for the first time at our District Training Meeting on Tuesday Morning, and well, they are AWESOME! We are the only Sisters among three companionships of Elders, but it's all good! Just means we get to pick on them more! SCORE! Nah, I love the Elders I have served with because they have a desire to serve and are working hard to fulfill their priesthood duty to serve the Lord's mission! My companion and I are fighting being sick. Sadly, she got it worse than I did, but we were in all-day yesterday. But it is all good because I am trying to read the Book of Mormon in the last 100 days of my mission and I had some serious catching up to do as well as work on "My Plan" to give to President Killpack at the end of the transfer to look over and talk to me about in my final interview with him. We had only three lessons this week, but that is ok because we found a new and prepared investigator named Alberto. He is the most humbled man I have ever met on my mission. The Lord has prepared him to receive the gospel because his trials have truly brought him to the depths of humility. We taught him The Restoration and it was so AMAZING to feel and see the Spirit work within him! All we have to do now is get him on date for baptism with inspiration from the Lord and make sure we find some fellowshippers from our ward to come to the lesson. We also had the privilege of attending for the first time in a decade a world-wide missionary training meeting from the conference center! It was INCREDIBLE! I sat in front with the view of Elder Rasband, Elder Renlund, Elder Bednar, Elder Oaks, President Nelson, Sister Oscarson, L. Whitney Clayton, and a few others from the missionary department. The meeting was so powerful and being able to be there personally was truly an experience of a lifetime. Their main message was "Teach Repentance and Baptize Converts." So INSPIRED! I was blown away! We as missionaries tend to forget the mantle that we have to cry repentance unto this people, and we need to know who we are! Something that really stood out to me was David A. Bednar's portion
with teaching us about the role of the Holy Ghost. We as missionaries
need to realize: 1) The Holy Ghost is the teacher and we are not. We must be worthy and obedient conduits to allow the Spirit to touch the hearts of those we are teaching. -The Holy Ghost is the source of edification - Preparation for lessons allows the Holy Ghost to draw upon your treasure chest of knowledge that you have prepared. If we as missionaries do not place something in the treasure test, the Holy Ghost cannot draw anything out of it. 2)With the Holy Ghost as the teach we are but the tools that He testifies through. - We must set the stage for him to edify the hearts of those we are teaching through planning, obedience, etc. -Revelation is thoughts to the mind and feelings to the heart *He is the convert and our job as missionaries is to bring the Holy Ghost unto those we are teaching. Without the power of the Holy Ghost, we are useless and powerless to teach and convert anyone to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.* I testify that the Holy Ghost is the master teacher to every soul that yearns to know the eternal truths of the gospel. We as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints need to seek to be worthy of His guidance and companionship at all times. We must realize that He really is a gift and so many do not have Him or His help in their everyday lives, but we do! Seek His love inspired direction everyday. He is ALWAYS talking to us, but are we listening? Have a wonderful week! Keep the faith! Con Amor, Hermana Rackley
