Cadre leader in organizing and conducting a team Service Learning Project during
Practice II as a UNCP student at Jackson Terrace Housing Unit operated by the
Community Action Partners of the Sandhills. A multiphase health initiative project
was conducted to determine the residents current health resources, safety needs,
transportation issues, nutritional needs and fall precautions. A health/information
fair was held for 44 low-income senior residents.

dry staples to the needy and underserved in the Carthage area (2006 to current).

American Heart Association volunteer; monitors blood pressure and pulse

Choral Department patron and volunteer at Union Pines High School
Gave shelter, food, medical attention, transportation and emotional support and guidance to a
depressed, homeless 17 year old teen in the community for (5) weeks until he and his parents
could mend their relationship and establish healthy boundaries.Oct.-Nov.2015
Provided Secret Santa for four children ages 7, 9, 11, and 17 that reside with their paternal
grandmother since she has limited resources for many of the essential items young children
need (Coats, jeans, shoes) purchased.
