Brainstorm will gather their prior knowledge on the oral and written tradition. Their learning will then be assessed by
the use of both oral and written questions. Homework will also provide a form of assessment of the learning outcome.

Student will have good prior knowledge this topic as they have studied the gospels as source of evidence of Jesus and
the evangelists in previous lesson. They will also be familiar with the oral tradition from everyday experiences

DIFFERENTIATION:
How will I differentiate the content knowledge of this lesson so as to include all learners in a mixed
ability class?
Throughout the lesson I will ask a series of both Higher and lower order questions. This will allow for a clearer
understanding of the topic and also to cater for abilities in the classroom.
By playing a game of Chinese whispers the students will be asked to analyse how hard it was to spread the word of
god correctly. This needs a higher form of thinking and will challenge the students in the class
This lesson also incorporates a number of different techniques to cater for all learning styles such as group work
writing reading talking and discussing
