Driving Question: How can we help the children who are being abused? Steps a
child should take if they are being abused, or know someone who is being abused.
Description of a completed project: My completed project will have a
collection of multimedia in a form of website. So My final project will be a website,
and it will answer the question how can we help the children who are being
abused? It will show steps a child should take if they are being abused, or know
someone who is being abused. It will be a collection of valuable information that
abused children need to get help. A collection of pictures, interview, links,
quizzes, answers to Frequent asked questions, information about prevention skills,
and educational YouTube videos.
In my website I will provide up to date information on child abuse as well as
resources for help. The website will address the topic of child abuse and focus on
the prevention skills. I want the website to help victims seek help no matter what
age or gender they are. The most interesting component of my website will be a
map that will show the closest help center to the abused child. It will provide
directions and contact information as well. The format of my components will be
mainly text files with a digital map. All of my components will be in website form. I
will also have done an interview with a child and family guidance center on abuse
and what we can do to help. Lastly, my audience will be underage children and
teens being abused or know someone who is being abused.
