Lesson 2: Design a Hotel instructions, research guide, and interview

questions.

The task: You must design and label a Spanish

hotel, then conduct interviews to find out about
your classmates designs.
Your drawing should include:
1. The number of floors in the hotel
2. Rooms labeled as individual or doble
3. All the vocabulary under el hotel section (drawn in the hotel AND labeled)
1. Yes, spelling will count!
b. Where the hotel is located in Madrid, Spain (based on local attractions and
transportation). Include the location somewhere on your drawing.

After you have decided on a location and then designed and labeled your hotel, we will
conduct speed interviews about your hotel. You will be paired with other students and you
must ask and answer questions to find out about the other persons hotel.
***Your grade for this assignment will be a combination of your hotel design, your participation
and language use during the speed interview, and the interview sheet that you will turn in at
the end of the period. The grading rubric can be seen below. ***
