To Whom It May Concern,

As principal of Lewis-Palmer High School, it is a true honor to be working with Jordan Clark. Jordans
professionalism, work ethic, and intuitive nature in regards to the educational process are of the highest
quality. No one would guess he is a second year teacher in a public school. I believe his ability to
cultivate positive relationships with the entire school community and his strong core belief in a growth
mindset are the underlying elements to his success as an educator.
From day one, Jordan established a classroom environment that is welcoming, structured, and focused
on student learning. His students are active participants in every lesson. They regularly have multiple
opportunities to engage, question, and practice as they develop knowledge and skills. He employs large
group instruction, structured discussions, small group projects and activities, and individual reflective
writing throughout his unit plans. Technology is incorporated appropriately as an effective learning
tool. He uses personal stories to provide relevance and often models expected outcomes so students
have a clear understanding of what they are trying to produce. Through all of his work, he weaves in
humor and develops personal connections with all kids. Bottom line, Jordan Clark is a kid magnet. And
that is not a catch phrase at our school. Our students and parents are very discerning customers with
high expectations for their education.
Jordans professionalism, work ethic, ability, and interpersonal skills make him a valued colleague on
our staff. He quickly developed positive working relationships with teachers, administrators, support
staff, and district personnel. He is a trusted member in multiple professional learning communities
within our school. I mention multiple because of the variety of talents he brings to us and his
willingness to utilize so many of them. In just two years, Jordan has successfully taken the lead of our
theater program with courses ranging from introductory theater to advanced acting to theater technology
and set design. He serves as the director of small and large productions, and is our thespian advisor. In
addition, he teaches Introduction to Business, Personal Finance, and support study hall for freshmen and
sophomores. He asks questions for clarification, plans events and classroom activities carefully,
supports his fellow staff members, and actively takes part in day to day school life.
Jordan has extended his positive influence into the greater school community as well. Performing arts is
a tight knit group and families are actively involved. Parents have come to know that Jordan truly has
their students best interest at heart. All communication and interactions are professional and
personable. Time and time again he exceeds expectations. It is with great enthusiasm that I look
forward to many years of working with Jordan Clark at Lewis-Palmer High School.

Sincerely,

Ms. Sandi Brandl, Principal

Ms. Dawn Klein, Assistant Principal, Ms. Bridget OConnor, Assistant Principal
Mr. Nick Baker, Assistant Principal/Athletic Director
