Fold three petal units and assemble them in a group. 2. Fold three leave units and assemble them in a group. 3. Assemble the petals group to the leaves group. 4. Open the petals and the leaves. Assembly of the petals group with the leaves group. NOTE: Once the two groups are assembled, the model will have the shape of a box with three points sticking out. Tum the leaves group over so that the corner is deep (as if you were looking inside a box) while keeping the petals group with its comer high (as if looking at the outside of a box). When placed one above the other (the petals group on top), you may rotate them to align the stubs of one with the pockets of the other. At this point, all the stubs are outside the box Following the diagram, insert the stubs of the petals group in the pockets of the leaves group as you did while assembling the petals group. The small triangles extending from the sides, on the leaves group, should be kept outside the box while assembling. If you choose to make the box, insert the stubs under the corresponding sides (a, b, c) and the box is done. See the next step to find out how to rise the sides. If you choose to make the rose, proceed as follows. For cach of the 3 faces of the petals group, reach between the plies on opposite sides of a with a the square and pull out (away from the cube) bwith b while squeezing the sides toward each other. with © Do not wrinkle the paper.
