Week Six

Learning Intention: lesson fourteen


To Demonstrate my skills about the
continents
Success Criteria: lesson fourteen
- I practiced using the softchools.com 7
continents map game put the corrected
names to the correct continent.
-I completed my quiz with mostly correct
answers and gave it to my teacher.

Lesson Fourteen.
INTRODUCTION
As a warm up for students set I-pads or
laptops with the softschools.com 7
continents map game at
http://www.softschools.com/social_studies/continents/map.js

This game requires children to drag the


continent name on to the correct continent
and tells them if they are correct or wrong.
Tell children they will have 7 minutes to
warm up before completing their quiz.
MAIN BODY
Gather children in at their tables so they are
seated with their pencil ready.
Explain to the children they will be
completing a quiz to test their knowledge so
far.
Explain to children they will have 5 minutes
to complete the test with no talking.
Hand out the quiz to all students and set

2 minutes they will finish and move on to
something else.
-Repeat above step at 1 minute left.
-Inform students that time is up and instruct
for pencils down.
CONCLUSION
-Ask students to bring their test to the carpet
and give it to you and sit down.
-When all students are engaged and sitting
on the carpet, ask students how they felt
about completing that test?
