Internship Guide. They are coded by their appropriate K, S, and D numbers
below.

filing. Make copies of this evaluation form for each supervisors as well as

Ms. Henderson has had a very positive and enriching internship experience at Eden
Junior/Senior High School. This experience provided her with a wide variety of day
to day activities that a school administrator faces, as well as provided her with the
opportunity to do research pertaining to converting a junior high school setting into
a middle school setting.

COMMENTS:
In my interactions with Ms. Henderson, I found her to possess keen leadership
characteristics that are essential for success as a school administrator. She
utilized her leadership abilities in her interactions with students, staff and
administration. Ms. Hendersons work with the Regents proctoring schedule and
local exam schedule was a good example of her fine abilities to collaborate with
staff, as well as to put her problem solving skills to good use.

PROFESSIONAL MOTIVATION (D3, D4 - e. g. clear goals, high level
of professional interest and motivation, etc.)

COMMENTS:
There is no question that Ms. Hendersons professional motivation is outstanding.
She sets high goals for herself and puts forth laudable effort and work to attain her
goals. Throughout this internship, Ms. Henderson not only worked to meet the
goals outlined in her proposal, but as other tasks and activities presented
themselves, she eagerly became involved in them for the good of the students and
staff.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS (D2, D5, D6 - e.g. sense of humor,
poise, self-control, ability to handle crises and stress, honest, etc.)

COMMENTS:
Ms. Henderson exhibits laudable personal characteristics that are essential for
success as a school administrator. Throughout this internship, her poise, patience,
self-discipline and helpful nature were evident in the activities she was involved
with and the people she interacted with.

relate to others, work with groups, acceptance of criticism, respect for
others, etc.)

COMMENTS:
Ms. Henderson possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Her ability to
enter into a new school setting and quickly be accepted by the faculty and staff of
Eden Jr/Sr High School is praiseworthy. She understands the importance of working
cooperatively and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders in order to attain a
mutual goal.

COMMENTS:
Ms. Henderson demonstrated very fine professional competence in all the tasks
and activities that were required of her in this internship. She met all the
requirements outlined in her internship proposal in a commendable manner.

COMMENTS:
Throughout her internship, all written communication from Ms. Henderson was
completed in a well thought out and professional manner.

COMMENTS:
Ms. Henderson exhibits excellent oral communication skills. She articulates her
ideas clearly and possesses fine command of the English language.

question areas)
This internship provided Ms. Henderson with a wonderful opportunity to experience
school administration in a public school setting. The tasks and activities that she
was involved in provided her with an avenue to utilize and build upon her
management and leadership skills in a most productive and positive manner. I
believe that Ms. Henderson has a bright future in school administration should she
elect to pursue such a path.
