SEVERE WEATHER/EMERGENCY CONDITIONS

Occasionally, severe weather or emergency situations [such as fire, power
failure, flooding or snow] can disrupt company operations and circumstances
may necessitate early closing, late opening, or cancellation of work. A
determination on opening or closing will be made at the discretion of senior
management (see inclement weather policy below).
Unless otherwise notified, employees are expected to be at work on time. If
an employee arrives late, leaves early, or otherwise alters his/her normal
work schedule without prior approval from management, he/she will normally

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Mallick will make every effort to maintain normal work hours even during
inclement weather.
(a) Prior to normal starting time when Mallick announces that the office will
be closed due to inclement weather, all full-time exempt employees will be
paid for such time off. Part-time or non-exempt employees will only be paid
for their time worked.
(b) If Mallicks office is open, all employees will be expected to make
reasonable efforts to get to work. Employees unable to arrive for work on
any such day will be charged PTO. If no PTO time is available the employee

should call their department supervisor and report their absence 90 minutes
prior to the start of the work day, if they are able to reach a phone, or it may
be considered an unexcused absence. Foremen are to call their immediate
supervisor by 5:45 AM at the latest to see if they will be working that day. All
other non-exempt employees are to call their Foreman by 6:00 AM at the
latest. Employees will have a 2 hour grace period to arrive at work without
being written up. You will be paid for actual time spent at work. This does not
include time spent in traffic.
Time absent from work under either condition a or b above shall not be
counted as hours worked when computing weekly overtime.
On days when weather conditions worsen as the day progresses, Mallick may
decide to close early. In such cases, a decision and announcement will be
