Below you will find a list of 9 Scholarship Programs that will give out more than 1 Million dollars to students in
2016. Students from Maine school districts are eligible for all of the awards below. To download this newsletter

1) Gen Llovd W. "Flo" Newton Scholarahio - $1,000 - 2 Awards (Deadline: April 15,2016)
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Be students of accredited high schools who have graduated or will graduate in the school year 2015-2016.

8) Additionally, applying students must have a CPA of at least three points (3.0) on a four-point scale.

2) College JumpStart Scholarahip - $1,000 - 2 Awards (Deadline: April 15,2016)


To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) You are a high school 10th, 11th or 12th grader -OR- you are an undergraduate college student or nontraditional student. There are no age limits.

B) You are currently attending or you are planning to attend an accredited two-year, four-year, community,
vocational or trade school in the U.S. Online programs also qualify

3) YDI Schplarahip. $1,000 -1 Award (Deadline: April 29,2016)
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Apply between 12:00 am on April 1st, 2016 and April 29,2016 Eastern Standard Time and be a resident of
any of the 50 United States, District of Columbia or US Territories

4) 2016 Scholarahip Points Awards - $10,000 -10 Awards (DeadHne: April 30,2016)
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) At least 13 years old and enrolled or will enroll In a college or university in the US.
B) A legal resident of the U.S. or Puerto Rico.

5) E-Waate Scholarahip - $1,000 -1 Award (Deadline: April 30,2016)
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) You must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or
B) Entering college or graduate school student of any level. Home schooled students are also eligible.
C) You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.

61 Paradigm Challanaa Scholarahip $100.000 -100 Awarda (Deadlina: May 1,2016)
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Be a legal resident of one of the fifty states of the United States or the District of Columbia, or

B) Are United States citizens with a permanent United States address and are currently residing on an
overseas United States military installation;

C) Be aged 7 to 18 years old on May 1, 2015; and

D) Have their parents'/legal guardians' permission to participate.

7) LGMD Awareness Scholarship $3,000 - 4 Awards (Deadline: May 25,2016)


A) LGMD Awareness Scholarship was designed to reward students who teach others about Limb Girdle
Muscular Dystrophies, often referred to as LQMDs.

B) There are two scholarship categories, merit-based and social media based. A total of four $3000
scholarships will be awarded in 2016.

C) The scholarship money can be used for tuition, books, and equipment required for education courses.

Students may apply for both scholarship categories but students will be awarded at most one scholarship.

8) Mark A. Forester Scholarship - $1,000 -1 Award (Deadline: June 1,2016)


A) Any student who is currently enrolled in an accredited American university or college, or will be enrolled for
the Fall/Summer semester of 2016, can apply for the Mark A. Forester scholarship.
B) To enter, the student must write a 300-500-word essay explaining how they go about honoring America's
military heroes. You can simply send the essay as a part of the body of your email, no attachments please,
with your full name, school you will be attending, and contact information.

9) 10 Words or Less Scholarship $500 -1 Award (Deadline: June 30,2016)
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Anyone who is between the ages of 14-25 who will be attending school in the Fall of 2016.
B) High School students who are enrolled by September 2016 are considered eligible.
