CREATE ETH SERVICES IN

1350OMS

The Purpose:

The Document introduces how to create the ETH Service in

1350OMS SDH step by step. According to the Document, you will
create ETH Service without any help.

1. Confirm the Network Elements in EML.

2. Synchronize the ports in SDH.

After synchronize, you will see the ports which you just uploaded
in the SDH.

3. Create Physical Connections:

After Implentment, you will see:

4. Create path in SDH

Service Type: Choose Ethernet Service Type

Service Rate: Choose the Rate Speed you need, such as 1G Rate
Adaptive, 10G Rate Adaptive.
Transport Rate: Choose the actual Transport Rate you need, such as
AU-n4V, TU-n3V, TU-n12V etc
Total Concatenation Level: this option need modified by manual. How
many Au4/TU3/TU12 you need, you will add in this place.

Using the constraint in Ethernet Service:

Channel Number: should be modified by manual. How many

AU4/TU3/TU12 you used, you should arrange them from 1 to n. For
example, you list 3 AU4, you will arrange the Channel Number from 1
to 3 for both main routing and spare routing.

5. Create ETS services in ISA board

Select 1 in the picturethen select 2 and click right key of the mouse,

Select Configure ISA,

Configure ISA board as the follow picture,

Select a ETHLocPort, in the Characterization Service menu select Port To

Port(Service),

Select Configure Ethernet Port

Configure Admin. Status as up

Select a ETHRemPort and Configure it as Port To Port(Service)

Then select Configure Ethernet Port

Configure Underlying Layer as vconc and configure Admin. Status as up.

Select 1(Connection), then select a ETHLocPort and click right key of the
mouse, Create ETS XC One step.

Select 1,

Then it will show a new window, select Search

Choose a ETHRemPort and Apply

Select Apply

Finish.
