Step-by-step Procedure

Monday 3/14-

1) Rubric is passed out to all students


2) T explains the project, and tells them to start
thinking about a plot and main character. T gives
examples so the students know they have a lot of
different possibilities.
3) T Picks students to read the excelente sections of the
rubric.
4) T reminds students that the rubric has to be turned
in with the project.
(Includes facilitation questions
throughout the lesson and all
resources)

5) T tells students that they will be working on the


project in class today starting with the written portion.
They must complete around 5 pages just of the writing.
6) T tells students that for homework they must
complete all pages, tomorrow they will be doing peer
editing.
-If some students finish their story early they can start
peer editing it, or ask T to check over it.

Tuesday 3/15

I will briefly go over the expectations of the project


and remind them of the important aspects such as
conjugating correctly, using the required vocabulary
and using the commands.
1) Students will begin the class by peer editing their
written stories; these will be their rough drafts. This
will take 10-15 minutes.
2) The remainder of the class they can finish up their
written part. If it is already done, they can begin
drawing their book.
Homework: The rest of the project will be done as their
homework. The students will be allowed to come in
during lunch for the teacher to review their work.
