Purpose:

Activity one: describe the picture.

Materials:

In this activity the students will explain the picture by writing sentences using effect and
cause. ( engage, explain, and explore).
Instructions:
Students will work in pairs.
. Describe the picture and write what is the effect and what is the cause.

Activity two: matching.

Materials:

Worksheet.

Purpose:
Write sentences about Cause and Effect.

In this activity the students will write sentences and then match the cause and effect.
Instructions:
Each group will write sentences about effect and cause.
Then they will switch the sentences with another group.
They will try to match the cause with the effect that the other group made.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)


Activity three: own cause and effect.

Materials:
Worksheet.
Purpose:
Get the students to read and write the cause and effect sentences.

In this activity the students will write their own sentences and then read it to the teacher.
Instructions:
The students will write their own sentences.
Draw the cause and effect.
Read the sentences and explain it to the teacher.
