Remove air/water duct (1)

Mark dimension (a) on air/water duct (1) with

wax pencil

Check seal between air/water duct and

firewall for damage.

Place straightedge on reference edge (4) and

mark dimension (b) with wax pencil
Mark corner bores (3) with wax pencil,
dimensions (c and d)
Drill out corner bore (3) with 5 mm
Drill (electric/pneumatic)
Saw out cutout with body saw
Deburr edges with file.
Body saw (electric/pneumatic)
Install emergency drain valve (5)
Carry out function test.
