Formal Evaluation
The students will turn in the subject and predicate
assessment worksheet at the end of the lesson. I will
check the students worksheets to make sure they are
correct.
Informal Evaluation
During the scavenger hunt, I will walk around the room
to make sure students are on task and correctly
identifying the subject and predicate of each sentence.

students will be able to identify the subject and
predicate of 14 sentences with 85% accuracy.

Ask the students what the subject is.

Adaptations/Accommodations for Students with Special Needs
A student with fine motor problems will receive a pencil
griper to help him write. I will also read the sentence
aloud to the student. Also, I will provide extra support by
reading each letter choice aloud.
