Haiku Poem
With this app, students can learn about and write a haiku. They begin by
brainstorming words for their poem, and then they compose their poem with
attention to how many syllables theyve written for each line. The final step
allows students to customize the design of their poem with one of the
provided artistic backgrounds or by uploading their own image. Saving
capability allows students to return to their work and make revisions. Final
work can be shared via e-mail or saved to the device's camera roll. Multiple
users can create and store their own haiku poems on the same device
without confusion. This app would be great to implement into the classroom
for students to learn and write about Haikus. They are able to brainstorm
their own ideas and then customize their poems. This can be great for
students to use their creativity to develop their own personalized Haiku.
Students are also able to use Haikus to write about many different ideas and
subjects. Students can then save and share their poems with others.
