As a graduating student of Humber College in the Practical Nursing program,
I am excited to work and provide care for future clients. My most recent
placement at Toronto Public Health allowed me to travel to many schools
within Central Toronto, which enabled me to become proficient in
commuting, and arriving to places on time and prepared. Altogether, my
clinical experiences included collaboration and care for clients within various
ages, ranging from school-aged children to older adults; this broad spectrum
of clients has, therefore, helped me enhance my communicating and
leadership skills.
Working in a new environment is always a great way for me to learn new
things. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people, clients and
healthcare professionals alike. I also like to maintain professionalism by
acknowledging, and appreciating the healthcare professionals in the facility.
