I am Ziyad Bin Razali from Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia France Institute would
like to apply for the Airlangga Summer Programme 2015 that I have seen the
advertisement at Universiti Kuala Lumpur official website that looking for
candidates for this programme, I think that I am the suitable candidate for this
programme.

Before this , I participated in the International Scout Jamboree in Melaka and

Terengganu. I gained some new knowledge and skill on jungle survival and sharpen
my creativity. I met new friends from Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and
Philippine. I have extensive experience in making friend with different people from a
broad range of places, traditions or eating habits in sensitive and respectful manner.
In addition, I like to acquire new experience with new friends and willing to take
risks. As engineer to be, I would like to gained knowledge and experience on
industrial processes in Indonesia.as we all know industry plays an important role in
economic growth as it utilizes the unlimited resources of human creativity.

I like to emphasize that as ASEAN economic community, I would like to know

revolution in information and communication technology has brought both many
opportunities and challenges while doing field trips, attend workshops and visit
Batik factories in the vicinity of Surabaya during the proposed programme. An
interesting knowledge to regain would be in marketing of industrial products which I
can apply later I line with my ambition to be a technopreneur. It offers a closed
observation on creative industry in Indonesia. It emphasizes creative industry of
Batik home industry and explore other creative industry, such as hand crafting of
recycled good and knitted ware industry. It focuses on exploring theirs perceived
economic, cultural and traditional values, how they keep up with consumers needs
and market desire in Indonesia.
