We are going to complete a graphic organizer about

Then, we are going to make a three-dimensional traffic
light using our information

Morgans Traffic Light in small groups, using information


from the book and the Amazing Inventors worksheet
Providing the Independent Practice
Each student will be given a piece of black construction
paper, folded into four vertical sections, circles of red,
green, and yellow construction paper, scissors, and glue
Students will glue the circles onto the first section of the
black construction paper, to make a traffic light
Students will cut out the squares from the graphic
organizer and glue them to onto the next two sections of
black construction paper
Teacher will help students fold and glue the black
construction paper into a triangular shape (Teacher will
hang these traffic lights from the ceiling of the room)
Transition
Once the graphic organizer is completed, students will
return to their seats
