Aim is to be as sustainable as
possible, and provide an honest working
relationship
THE SOLUTION
o
Install five new overhead doors for each working
bay
Thermacore model 596 overhead doors
The 596 series has one of the best overall air
infiltration and sound transmission ratings. They feature
ozone friendly polyurethane insulation, along with
large windows that allow natural light in the work
space
Asbestos sealant
Using an epoxy paint or sealant on the asbestos
floor tiles will keep the asbestos from becoming friable.
Behr sells epoxy paints for garage floors and cement
surfaces
Fiberlock Technology sells encapsulation
products
Asbestos tiles can be sealed and then covered these
by newer tiles if desired
Light pollution
As of now 70% of the interior and exterior lights
are left on after hours of operation for security reasons.
We suggest adding motion sensors indoors and
outdoors to reduce light pollution and energy use
Replace all interior and exterior light bulbs with
high energy efficient options.
Electronic invoices
All client, estimate and supplier invoices as
well as work orders are currently printed out, we
recommend switching to electronic options for all

Currently for detailing they use
tap water connected to the pressure
washer. We recommend using a rooftop
rainwater harvesting system to reduce
the use of tap water. This would include a
catchment area (roof surface) to collect
the rainwater connected to a delivering
system, which would transport the water
from the catchment area to a storage
tank. The storage tank would have an
extraction device (pump) to pressurize the
water being fed to the pressure washing
system that is used for detailing.
