Who should I vote for?

Presidential Candidates
Election time is coming up, and many people are most likely wondering who they
should vote for. I want to encourage you to vote for the person and their values,
rather than their political party.
These are the following candidates who you can vote for in the Republican and
Democratic Parties: Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Hillary
Clinton.
I hope you will have a better sense of who to vote for after reading this article.

Republican

Candidates
Ted Cruz is Senator for the
state of Texas. He attended
Harvard Law school and
Princeton University. He is
married to Heidi Nelson.

Donald Trump is a
businessman. He gained
an economic degree from
the University of
Pennsylvania. He is in his
3rd marriage to Melania
Knauss.

Education: He wants to
end common core. He is a
co-sponsor of Local Control
of Education Act.

Education: Education
Education: He
should be at a local level. believes we should
continue Common
Core, but cut
education spending

Immigrants/Immigration:
He believes that we should
block effort that lets
undocumented immigrants
remain in the United States
legally.

Immigrants/Immigration:
He wants to deport all
undocumented persons,
ban all muslims, and
build a wall between the
U.S. and Mexico.

Immigrants/Immigrati
on: He believes we
should allow
undocumented
immigrants to stay in
the country legally.

Social Issues: He believes

that states should define
what marriage is, and that
there should be strict limits
on abortion.

Social Issues: Abortion is

limited. Marriage should
be between a man and
woman, and states can
define what marriage is.

Social Issues: He
decided to move past
the Same-Sex
marriage issue, and
focus on abortion. He
wants to ban
abortions after 20
weeks.

Democrats

John Kasich is the

current governor of
Ohio. He attended
Ohio State University.
He is married to
Karen Waldbillig.

Candidates

Bernie Sanders was a member of
the House of Representatives from
1991-2007. He attended the
University of Chicago and earned a
Bachelors Degree in Political
Science. He is currently married to
Jane OMeara.

Hillary Clinton is former President

Bill Clintons wife. She was a
former Senate member and
Secretary of State. She attended
Yale Law School, where she met
Bill.

Education: His stance on education

is very different. He wants to shut
down Wall Street so he can make
public colleges and universities
free.

Education: To her, she wants to

make college debt free. She is also
against the No Child Left Behind
Act.

Immigrants/Immigration: He wants
to offer a path of citizenship to
those undocumented in our country.
He also wants to waive some
deportations.

Immigrants/Immigration: She
wants to continue the programs
used to waive deportations. She
wants to give undocumented
persons a path of citizenship.

Healthcare: He wants a
government-provided, universal
health care policy. He is wanting a
Medicare for all.

Healthcare: She wants to expand

Obamacare, but doesnt want a
universal plan. She wants a say in
rates of other insurance
companies.

This shouldve been a very helpful guide as I

tried to focus on the main policies that they
are trying to fix. Each point I made is very
important in helping America continue to be
the greatest country in the world.
I hope this helped you see who you agree
with and whom you would like to vote for. It
is more important to vote for who you agree

Candidates
most with, rather than political party. You
should also vote for one who seems most
fitting for America, and who you believe has
the qualities of a leader.
