Certified staff will receive a performance bonus if the school


makes high growth, increase performance composite by 10
points, meet at least 60% of its Annual Measurable
Objectives, or school/individual teacher has 60% of its
students score or above grade level on MAP, common district
assessments or common formative assessments.
A mid-year bonus and end of year bonus are both contingent
upon certified staff meeting 4 of 5 focus areas at the time of
pay out as Halifax County Schools employee for 2015-2016
school year.

instructional data notebook, checking for student
understanding, and teach like a champion strategies (twice
