Survey Project

Our group works for AVI foods. We supply the food and drinks in the Cardinal Wuerl
North Catholic High School Cafeteria. We are conducting this survey because we would like to
find out what is the favorite food for the students to eat and how they think the quality of our
foods are. With this, we can figure out what food there is more of a demand for so that we can
better supply the CWNC Cafeteria with the most popular foods. Our sample that we chose was a
stratified sample. The population was all sophomores at CWNC, and of those, we only looked at
some of the students who have Miss Skirtich for English. This sample is stratified because we
surveyed some out of all of her English students.
With the data we collected, we will be able to supply more of the popular food selections
for the students at CWNC. For example, about one third of the students surveyed choose to eat
pizza. This tells us that we need to supply more pizzas to the CWNC Cafeteria so that they do
not run out. From this survey, we can conclude that students are pleased with the quality of food
that we provide the CWNC Cafeteria with. In the future, we hope to add more varieties of pizza
as well as keep the students happy with the food that their cafeteria serves.
