Standardbasketballearlyentryrepresentationagreement

Thisagreement,made_____dayof_____,20__,engagesPlayer_____andAgent/Agency
_____forthenext5yearswithrespecttothefollowing:
(1) Thenegotiationofthetermsofallprofessionalbasketballcontractsonbehalfofthe
Player,and
(2) AdviseandcounselinallbusinessaffairsrelatedtoPlayer'sstatusasaprofessional,
includingbutnotlimitedtoendorsements,appearances,etc.,andpromotionalmarketing
contracts.

Compensationforservices:Agent/Agencywillreceiveafeeoffourpercent(4%)ofthegross
moneycompensationwhichPlayerreceivespursuanttothetermsofanyprofessionalbasketball
contract.Agent/Agencywillreceiveafeeoftwentypercent(20%)ofthecompensationreceived
byPlayerforaforementionedendorsements,appearances,etc.

CircumstancesinwhichPlayershallreceivecompensationfromAgent/Agency:
1. Ifcontactand/orfunding(dinners,planerides,advances,trainingfees,etc.)madewith
Agent/AgencyduringallowedNCAAevaluationprocesscausesalossofcollege
eligibilityandPlayerfailstomakeanNBAteam.
2. IfPlayerfailstomakeanNBArosterandlandsonaDLeagueroster,whichrangesin
payfrom$13,000to$25,000.
3. IfPlayerfailstomakeanNBArosterandlandsonanOverseasteam.
4. IfPlayerfailstomakeanyrosterandworksintheMarketplaceatasalarylessthanthat
ofanNBAplayer.

PlayercompensationfromAgent/Agency:
1. Ifcontactand/orfunding(see1,above)causesalossofcollegeeligibility,Agent/Agency
willpayPlayerthefullcostofattendanceatformerschoolforthetimePlayerwould
havereasonablytakentoearnadegree.Inaddition:
2. IfPlayerfailstomakeanNBArosterandlandsonaDLeagueroster,Agent/Agencywill
payPlayerthedifferencebetweensalarieseachyearofcompetition.If,forinstance,
Playermakes$13,000in201617onaDLeagueroster,Agent/Agencyshallpaythe
differenceinsalaryfromthatofafirstyearminimumNBAsalary($543,471).The
differenceshallbepaideachyearinaccordancewiththeNBAsalarystructure.(The
201718NBAminimum,forexample,ofasecondyearPlayeris$905,249.The
Agent/Agencywouldberesponsibleforthedifferenceinthatandsoforth.)
Agent/Agencymaysubtractits4%and20%(seeabove).
3. IfPlayerfailstomakeanNBArosterandlandsonanOverseasteam,Agent/Agency
mustpayfornecessarypassportsandfulltimelanguageinterpreters,airlineflights
betweenOverseasteamtownandPlayerhome.Agent/Agencymustalsobeavailableat
alltimesforcallsconcerningLoneliness.
4. IfPlayerfailstomakeanNBAorOverseasteam,Agent/Agencyshallpaythedifference
betweenanNBAminimum(seeabove)andPlayer'ssalaryorwelfarecheckforaperiod
of4.8years(proratedinthelastyear),theaveragelengthofanNBAplayer.

Addendum:

IfPlayerisnotsuccessfulinpursuitofNBApositionorwellpayingOverseasposition,
Agent/Agency(inadditiontoabovecompensation),shallpersonallyandinwrittenform
profuselyapologizetoPlayer'sfamily,friendsandlovedonesandbegforgiveness.

INWITNESSWHEREOF,thepartiesheretohaveexecutedthisIndependentContract.
