For the Calorie Intake project I made a menu that will include healthy, low-calorie meal options. For example
in the morning will be 1bread, 1egg plus egg white and spinach (195cal), for lunch a salad of mix greens with 3oz of
cooked chicken (250cal), and for dinner 3oz of chicken on rice with green beans (350cal). If I feel the need to snack I
will eat something that is low calorie like an apple (70cal), vegetables (65cal), or strawberries (45cal). During this
project I learn that I lack self-control. I usually I try to eat healthy and stay under 1500 calories.

There was days that I would eat healthy and finish off the day right under 1500 calories. There was days that
even though I would eat healthy I felt cravings and ruing my healthy eating at the end of the day with junk food.
Junk food is another word for sweets like candy, cakes, cookies, and ice cream. I also noticed that fruit smoothies
helped with my sugar cravings. Fruits like strawberries, blue berries, and berries were very low in calories in high
volume compared to a Twinkie that was high calorie in low volume. So as a goal, first I will substitute ice-cream
(200cal) for a fruit smoothie (120cal). A fruit smoothie is high in volume, low in calories, pretty filling, and the
natural sugar in the fruit satisfies my sweet tooth craving. I noticed vegetables were low in calories and high in
volume too, so for my second goal I will substitute chewy bars (190cal) for vegetables (70cal). For my third goal I am
going to stick with Ezequiel bread but less servings like 1 piece (80cal) instead of 2(160cal).
