Classroom management and teacher talk

This is my 7th training to SRS school. In this essay, I am going to talk


about useful tips and the strategy of the classroom management. I
observed many strategies on my Mentor while she was managing kids
behavior. Moreover, I think my mentor is a positive reinforcement and
this will lead to increase positive out come or changed kids behavior to
the best.

There are several strategy that usually teacher using for classroom
management. I noticed some of those strategies on my Mentor such as
active Engagement, Establish enforceable rules and enforce them,
communicate regularly and clearly with kids, organize teaching
activities to avoid boredom and wasted time and punishment. For
example, I noticed that she was very active and was trying to engage
all the kids on the session, at the same time she was having some rule
and regulation and was reinforcing between time to time by telling to
kids that do not run, push and bite. Nevertheless, she was punishing

time. In addition, she was communicating with all kids and repeating
the idea for many times to be clear and understandable for all.

Attacks on dignity. It may be difficult for you to detect this problem on


your own, but your tone and choice of words may unintentionally hurt
students. You must never compromise the dignity of a student, even
when he or she is misbehaving. (Woolfolk, 2001). The teacher has to
deal with the misbehavior at the same time she has to not make him
less self-confidence. My Mentor was saying that this is the best FS in
their level and behavior. However, some times, they are selfish to take
some thing from each other and saying bad words or biting each other
and it is something naturally for kids in early age. The punishment that
I saw it in my training that their was one child is throwing the food on
the table, the teacher asked him to close his lung box and sit a lone for
period in corner by very quite and polite way. Which I think is the best
to let the child to understand and recognize his misbehavior, and he
will not repeat again at same time this type of punishment did not
affect or hart his personality and academic achievement.

As a conclusion, I think that best way of teach is being a role model for
kids specially in early age because the kids emit whatever they

observer from they environment. my mentor school teacher is positive


while she deal with the issue that she face it. The most thing I like it
that she speak to the kids only when they are quit to not raise her
voice. In contrast, if she shout at them may affect their personality and
they will became more aggressive therefore she want be able to
control them.
