This lesson will help students to expand their social information and make

1. Assign group of 3-4 students.


2. Students will use Movie Maker software to communicate a central theme of
the novel. They will use graphics, captions and sound and the movie must

be at least one minute.


One student will find the graphics
One student is responsible for putting the movie together
One student will be responsible for writing the captions
One student will be responsible for editing the movie and finding a
sound file.
3. Place a presentation sign-up sheet that gives time slots to when the
students will present and have them, as a group, decide when they would
like to show their final product.
Assessment

The rubric below will be used to grade the students participation and group work
as a whole. It will also include their comprehension of the play and their use of
movie maker/video production skills.
