A MESSAGE FROM MRS. BERLEMONT.
It has been lovely to see so many children for
Headteachers awards for their hard work! I am very
proud of the progress the children are making and the
pride they take in their work. I look forward to giving out
many more Headteachers awards during the Summer
term.
Taking pride in our presentation is really important at
Green Lane and this includes our work, our conduct
and our uniform! Its really important for our pupils to
take pride in their personal presentation through
wearing the correct uniform, ensuring their hair is tied up
(including boys with longer hair) and that their school
jumpers arent chewed at the sleeves. I really
appreciate your support with this, thank you.
ATTENDANCE
Thank you for continuing to work with us to ensure our
pupils arrive in school, on time, every day. Please be
aware we are unable to authorise holidays taken in
term time. Whilst we appreciate term time holidays are
cheaper, and we do sympathise as our staff and their
families find themselves in the same boat when it comes
to expensive holidays, it is important that all our pupils
are in school to undertake all the education they are
entitled to.
MILE A DAY!
Building on the success of the Sports
Relief Challenge which the children
recently completed, Green Lane will
pilot taking on a Mile a Day. We
hope that this will ensure that our
children develop healthy habits that
may stay with them for life. Classes
will undertake this alongside their regular P.E. lessons, at
a convenient time each day. Please ensure that, as per
our school policy, your childs footwear is suitable.
We will keep you updated on our progress
