SKETCHING ACTIVITY

1. Students will approach the Solids in Contact model which will be positioned in a
suitable area in the classroom.
2. They will be required to explore and observe the various positions in which the
model prisms can be situated.
3. Working in pairs, they will select their chosen position of the solids and complete
coloured sketches of the elevation, plan and also a 3D view of the entire model.

4. Rationale for this activity: Focusing on Visual Learning and Sketching this
exercise will enhance the students ability in producing exceptional 2D & 3D
sketches of the proposed exercise.
Students will also benefit through visual learning with the use of model props
and hands on activity.
