Travel Proposal
I have decided to write about travel for my extended inquiry project because it is a topic
that I can relate to all the while it is a very interesting yet challenging topic. This topic is very
easy to relate to Chris as all that man did was travel. Personally I find travel to be a fun and
exciting way to make discoveries and observations. As a child, my family and I would always
travel during the summer to different places around the country. It was through this experience
that I gained such an intense interest in seeing unique places. Travel is a topic that many people
are interested in and want to do before they die. I believe going out and seeing the world is one
of the greatest things a person can accomplish. In my opinion I think Chris had a good life where
he got to be free and happy, it was just too late when he decided to go home. There are so many
different ways to travel and places to travel, which makes me believe that it is a topic that will
not get old or repetitive. My project might include facts about tourism and the way people travel
globally. I believe I will write an informative essay as to why, how, and what is significant about
the way people move. I will look up sources that carry tourism information as well as facts on
visitors to national parks, for example. My ten questions go as follows:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.

What makes people want to explore?

Why do people push their limits?
Who are the most likely people to do extensive travelling?
Where did Chris go on his travels?
What is the most visited city?
What is the reason that its the most visited city?
What made Chris want to travel?
What is exciting about a place where no one lives at?
What is the most fun method to travel?
10. What makes people go back home?
