example,Ihaveseenagirlhaveabadattitudetowardseveryone,includingteachers
becauseofproblemsathome.Maybeastudentswantstolearnbuttheycantbecause
ofpeoplesattitude.TherewasthisonetimeSandraandIwereannoyedbutthis
studentinourhistoryclass,thekidwouldyellacrosstheclassroom,commentabout
everything,hewasrude,etc.Thereasonwhyheactedlikethatwasbecauseeveryone
madefunofhim.Onedayhewalkedinandwasbeingextraquiet,soSandraandI
askedhimwhyhewasnttalkingandheansweredDontworryImmovingschool
becauseImhomelessThatmademefeelbadbecauseweweremeantohimandour
historyteacherwouldyellathimforhisattitude.
Iwilltakeallthisasalessonthathavingarelationshipwithyourstudentsisimportant,
encouragethemnomatterwhatkindofattitudetheymayhave.
