- Brought sense of inclusion and collaboration to classroom environment of up to 34 students in Spanish 1/2, 3/4, and
Spanish for Spanish-speakers while providing challenging, engaging lessons based on Common Core State Standards.
- Use of technology such as iPads, Edmodo, Mac and PC, Interactive Boards to enhance Spanish curriculum as well as
instruct elective courses of Discovering Our World, Stretching, Robotics, and service-learning projects.
- Selected as Graduate Teaching Assistant in English at Salisbury University and lecturer of adult ESL international students
based on prior teaching experience, diverse background, and organization skills.
- Managed entire Spanish program while differentiating instruction to meet the unique social, emotional, academic needs of
students in judicial and psychiatric placements.
- Maintained positive relationships and open communication with colleagues, administrators and families. Collaboratively
implemented project-based learning across all subject areas.
- Sought immersion in Valencia, Spain and traveled to eight European countries and Ecuador to adapt to and respect local
and national culture to gain fluency in Spanish and improve language abilities in German.
