Pollution
For the Past several decades production and manufacturing
in the US. has gone down significantly. It has all ben outsourced
to countries like India, Indonesia, china, and other countries
around the world. So much that its polluting the the air they
breathe, water they drink, and food they eat. Im wondering if we
should start focusing on a global clean up? Today, an estimated 6080% of marine pollution originates from land(BBC) From what I read
previously I think we should follow New Delhis new proposed pollution law
and create a whole new world United Environmental Group that would only
allow so much emotion of pollution out a year per company other wise
theres sever penalty.
As we companies package their goods, and we the
consumer through them out the land we live on is continuously
getting polluted. It is said that about 79% of the waste on this
earth is general waste. Which means its waste that people use in

there everyday life. Which comes to the question, where do we

put all this trash? Yes we have recycling and renewal systems.
Even though Americas Landfills has been reduced by about 4000
in the last decade but off shore shipping of plastic is bow up to 1
billion dollars a year. A mixture of more outsourcing productions
and American then shipping back all the garbage to the countries
they were made in is creating sever pollution in some parts of the
world and keeping others clean.
The Earth is covered by 70% of water, which only leaves
30% of land for us to live on. If the land keeps getting worse and
worse eventually where will we live. If If we keep polluting our
land how will we live, we grow our food on land, we live raise our
families on land, even our fresh water touches
land.(Keepourlandbeautiful). If this evidence isnt enough how
about this Morethan3millionchildrenunderagefivedieannuallyfromland
environmentalfactors.(Dosomething)Ourchildrenourdyingourlandis
detraining,othercluesdoweneedtochangeourways.Landisjustoneofthe
threemainpollutedthingsonthisearth.
Besideslandpollutionwealsohaveanothermajorissue,waterorsea
pollution.Theoceanmakesupabout70%ofourearththatismorethenhalf.We
getnumerousresources,anduseittravel,food,oreventotakeafamilyvacation.

Butwhathappensonedaywhenthereisnooceanitsjustatoxicsludgethatwill
getuviolentlyill.Fourteenbillionpoundsofgarbagemostlyplastic,isdumped
intotheoceaneveryyear.(Conserveenergyfuture)Thatsnoteventheworstpart
besidestheplasticabout60%oftheworldsindustrialwasteisdumpedintoour
oceansandwaters,nottomentiononly2.5%oftheworldswaterisfreshand
drinkable.Whatarewegoingtodoaboutthis.Shouldweimplementaglobalwide
lawthatwouldpreventorsignificantlyreducethesefacts.WellIdo
LastbutnotleastwehaveAirpollutionthisiswhereitallstartstheairwe
breatheispolluted. In fact, volcanoes used to be the main source of atmospheric
sulfur dioxide; today people are.(national geographic) with the rate that US is
outsourcing there manufacturing then all this pollution will be populated to one
area causing severe pollution and an increase risk of health issues. Since the
year 1997 its estimated that 28.9 percent of people in these regions have an
increase in respitory health. As well as a 34 percent increase world wide in
having lung or heart related visits to the hospital. This be because of the crazy
amount of chemicals pumped into the air on a daily basis. TheWorldHealth

attributabletoairpollution.(sciencedaily)Iwouldsaynolifeshouldbetakendotothe
lackoflawonpollutioncontrol.
Air,waterandland,theonly3placeswecanbeonearthandwepollutethem,
makeitsoithurtsus.WellIhavesomethingtosayIcallthisplanetearthmyhome,I
kindoflivehereandIwanttomakesureitshealthyandgoingtosustainagood

environmentforustoliveandprospernotsuffocatefromignoranceandlackknowledge.
Insteadofworryingaboutmoneyandbeinggreedyweshouldmakesurethatourwateris
cleanandstaysclean.Makesureourlandiscleanandstaysclean.Andtheairwebreathe
andneedtosustainlifeiscleanaswellasitstaysclean.

Imallforbeingfreefromgovernmentandnotbeingtoldwhattodo.Butwhenis
comestotheplaceIliveIwantcompletecontroloveritbeingmoststrictlawsitcan
possiblybe.Thisiswherebusinessandgovernmentcrosseslines.Peoplewantfreedom
fromlawbusinessesdontwanttobetoldwhattodonordotheywanttospendmoneyon
devicesthatareneededforthem.Sothelobbytheydonthavethemoneyandpayoff
politicianstomakethelawsnosostrictsotheycangettheirway.Noweventhoughthe
Airpollutionhasdecreasedsignificantlysincepastdecadesitsstillheavilybeing
pollutedatahighrate.Despitegreatprogressinairqualityimprovement,approximately
57millionpeoplenationwidelivedincountieswithpollutionlevelsabovetheprimary
NAAQSin2014.(EPA)In1980lessthenhalftheworldwaslivingatthesestandards.I
wouldliketoseethegovernmentputtogetheragroupofscientistthatwouldcreatesome
sortofairpollutantscreenthatwouldcompletelyeliminateairpollutionfromcars
factoriesandanythingelsethatwouldpollutetheair.Comeupwithlawsondumping
wasteinfreshwaterandoceans,aswellcreatingacleanserforwastethatwouldmakeit
notharmfultotheenvironment.EitherwayitsdifficultbutIwouldliketoseealotmore
regulationonenvironmentlawsintheworld.AndfollowaapproachmorelikenewDelhi
wheretherelawsaresostrictthebutrestrictiononanythingandifyoudobreakthelaw

keepitcleanandreadyforuse,itsliketakingcareofacareifuputoilinitandtakecare
ofhershewilllastusawhile.
