India, especially those in the state of Haryana.

BACKGROUND OF VIOLENCE

Jat reservation andolan was started in 1991

by khap panchyat.
They demanded to include within the OBC
category in 1997 but rejected by NCBC.
Afterthat they were demanded reservation
from congress government until BJP defeated
to congress and Manohar lal khattar become
a first non jat CM.

WHAT WERE THEIR DEMANDS

AND HAD OFFER

They wanted to get reservation in OBC

category.
They wanted reservation in all sectors such
as for getting education and employment.

Offer
Manohar lal khattar offered to them for
entered to EBC quota.
He also raised the quota 10% to 20%.
And income level is also raised by him.

EFFECTS OF JAT AGITATION ON

NORMAL LIFE

40trains were cancelled by railway

government.
There are so many local and foreigners'
passengers were stuck.
Officers deployed in mainly 3 districtssonipat, jhajjar, and rohtak.
Networking and social media and net blocked
during agitation.

LOSSES DURING HARYANA JAT

AGITATION

Total loss of public and private property was

34000 crore rupees.
55 crores of loss faced by railway
department.
20 persons which were died during this
violence.

JAT RESERVATION BILL PASSED

Jat reservation bill had passed on 30th march

2016 by BJP government.

Six categories included in this qouta-jat,jat

sikh,rors,bishnois,muslim jats,tyagis.

Conclusion and suggestion

I conclude that government should slowly
start abolishing the caste system and instead
use financial background as quota. So, if you
are poor you get free education ,health care
and certain facilities.
