Introduction

"The Jade Emperor Heart Seal Sutra" (Yuhuang Xinyin Jing) is an important Taoist classic which every
Taoist monk have to recite daily.
This classic describes the Taoist practice of cultivating the elixir and is often quoted by other Taoist scriptures
as reference on the elixir theory.
The author is not known and is said to be apocalypsed by the Heavenly Jade Emperor. This classic can be
dated back to the Tang dynasty and is now included in the Taoist Canon.
