Orchestras received a Superior Rating (the highest award given) at the Eastern North Carolina Orchestra Music
Performance Adjudication in March 2011, March 2012, March 2013, March 2015
Had 14 students participate in All-State Orchestra, the most of any middle school in the state, including first chair
cello and violin
Invited to perform a Pre-Concert for the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields in February 2011
Invited to perform for the Juilliard School of Music in March of 2011
Students successfully perform Grade IV and V Literature (high school level)
Students auditioned and were accepted to perform at Pieces of Gold in March of 2011

Students participated in a field trip to Chicago, IL in December 2004 to experience the Orchestra Hall Centennial
Concert performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra
Arranged a field trip for over 100 students to attend the Kennedy Center Open House in September 2005
